physical damage dealers still benefit from mag attack stats… the summons and limit breaks all use both physical and magical attack to do the damage with the exception of Bahamut. I would say prioritize the physical attack stat for physical damage dealer characters and also HP stat but get all the stats when you can. and vice versa for the magic damage dealers
If you have a lot of memories to spare, definitely, but unless you are spending money on the game, chances are you won't have all the memories necessary for both the stats and limit breaks, so you have to make a sacrifice and I would take limit breaks over the unused stats any day.

I am curious if aerith’s seal evil limit break will have the same niche use that it did in the OG game
