Thank you @Ohrenje for making this documentary series. I have watched and liked them on your channel as well. I am very pleased to see your documentaries getting attention on TH-cam.
Same here, man! I do not ever want that song to end either. Thanks for all of these documentaries and the all the work you and your team put into them. I am also looking forward to the updated series (I have seen the first two and they are awesome).
At one time in their very early days, there were only three people to watch their show at a venue (according to the person who saw the show). Now they can easily sell out a show at a venue of 3000 capacity.
When a brilliant and energetic girl from Kumamoto, named Mika Noguchi, re-invented herself as Miku Kobato and created the best live rock band in rock history.
You run across people that have 50% more life energy poured into them than the average, and they radiate it out of themselves as joyful energy. Miku is definitely one of those people. This is the aspect of Band-Maid that strikes me every time I listen, their music makes me unreasonably happy.
If Miku would have been an American teenager, she would have been class president, head cheerleader, head of the glee club, and voted most likely to succeed. I don't many rock bands who have an MC or Omajanai Time so the audience could really interact with them and get to know them. THAT is what makes Band-Maid so endearing to their fans. It is a special time for any of their concerts. Johnny, you're right about other rock bands and how they often interact with the fans. Miku, that amazing little pigeon had an idea, she pursued it relentlessly with an ambition to create and promote a band that would rock the world. It is serendipitous that she found the perfect bandmates to pursue that dream. She has succeeded.
Miku is the hardest working person in show business. Miku Omajinai: "You have two choices. You must join, or join". "You are trapp-eed". "Don't be Miffy". Those online okyuji were awesome. The best was the one on 2-11-2021.
Kobato Miku is one of those people that make things happen! She leads, pushes or drags the people around her in the direction she wants to go. Thanks, Johnny!
Great video watch sharing this experience with you and hearing your insights on them as well. My takeaway from the Miku episodes was; the clumsy little pigeon finally conquers world through sheer determination and will power. What an inspiring personality.
The subtitles popping up when the narrator speaks are the YT automated ones, not ones put on by Ohrenje's team. That's why they're wrong (homogenie time!) but they can be turned off on the cc button under the video. Miku is the best frontperson and makes all the audience feel special and happy. PS If you haven't seen anything of Band-Maiko then they have 2 MV's on Band-Maid's YT channel page. Cluppo is worth exploring too, though her stuff is on her own channel.
@@jjo154 I only mentioned it because he commented in the middle of the video at how bad the spelling was on the subtitles so I assumed he thought they were hardcoded into the video as otherwise he'd have turned them off. Why won't we have to remind him for a while? Is he taking a break from reactions?
You should check out some of the Cluppo songs. It’s a very diverse EP and, while a couple songs are not in a style I particularly love, even those are still good, IMO.
Yes, I know Band-Maid's entire catalog, but even if I didn't, and I was watching this documentary for the first time with no prior knowledge, I think I would be deeply impressed by this lady. The entire series so wonderfully summarizes why Band-Maid is so much more than just a band that makes music. Each of the ladies is interesting and an inspiration for different reasons. And yes, Miku is indeed someone you don't meet every day and stands out. ❤🔥🕊 _____________________ 「 _"Our rock never dies ever. Forever!"_ 」 - from *BAND-MAID* - 'Manners' ♬🕊
I love your reaction to band-maid. You've finally finished watching the documentary about the members. Please continue to give your reactions to them. They are probably a band that will go down in history. I'm Japanese. You have a unique sensibility towards Japan. That's rare. I'm looking forward to it. Miku created a miraculous band and is the soul of that band. Without her this band wouldn't have been born. That's the truth. I want you to imagine that all these talented members love this band under her guidance. That's all there is to it.
Hey Johnny, when were you on Cool Japan? I've watched quite a few episodes on NHK World. It's been a lot of fun rewatching these documentaries with you and seeing your reactions to them. 👍
I have been on about five episodes, the last one was about knitting lol The best one was when I got to go to a Japanese whisky distillery. Sometimes you can see them on TH-cam, but they get removed very quick. Also, I have never seen an episode, I hate watching myself lol. Thanks for the kind comment.
Johnny it's been truly a pleasure watching these alongside with you. I really enjoyed your thoughts and your enthusiasm throughout the docu-series. Thank you PO! 🕊🕊🕊
Great reaction! Definitely the fastest 30 minutes ever! The more I know about her the more I want to just give her a big ol' hug (not too tight since she is fragile, lol) and thank her for everything. Until next time! I have watched some episodes of Cool Japan when I still had NHK World as a channel on my cable TV. Unfortunately it got remove and put into a separate package. Couldn't afford to add it back.
I first ate Omu rice when I was stationed in South Korea ( 1976-77 ). It was very popular there as well ! 😏♥️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘Mad respect & love for Miku !! Also " Gion Cho" is a must !
Cool! You were on the TV program of NHK ! BTW have you checked out The Warning's vlog about their first time in Japan. By watching it I felt again that I will never be able to imagine Band Maid without Miku.
I was really into Chumbawamba, about 15 years before 'that' song lol! Absolute hardcore anarchists. Look into why they decided to try for a 'hit' record - it's hilarious.
If you get a chance look up the song Superstar from the Hatofull EP. It's the last song on the EP and will blow your mind with it's total musical brilliance- a small snippet was splay during this video. The outro is another song from the EP. After 60 years of seeing live bands, I've never seen anything like the activities that all this band get up to on stage. Especially Magic Spell Time.
This ending makes me cry everytime I watch it 😭thank you very much for reacting to my video, I'm glad that I've been able to watch it again with you 🥰

Miku is the center of gravity in Band-Maid.
At one time in their very early days, there were only three people to watch their show at a venue (according to the person who saw the show). Now they can easily sell out a show at a venue of 3000 capacity.
What a great reaction, Miku really is a special woman. I have watched this many times and still makes me smile, cheer and even tear up at points.
many thanks, yes she's a star.

I have Cluppo/hattoful. You may be able to get it still from Pony Canyon, it's actually not bad even though it's very different from Band Maid.
Mika Miku Karuppo!
Johnny sensei こんにちは😊
MIKU works at a maid cafe and realized that she had been wearing a mask.
she says she felt unleashed and able to express herself😮

It would be dope if Band Maid do cover Cluppo songs,
Zemitis, pigeon how many guitars do you want for cluppo video? Miku , all of them po! Zemitis, kuruppo!
