The satisfaction of seeing a car go from what they are to what you make them must be insanely good, starting to work out logistics for when I get a car I'm proud to own and clean and maintain it. Not a huge car guy but there is something immensely enjoyable about seeing a car look great
Your a magician . Each and every vehicle you do you put 100% effort and commitment in to it, a credit to you and how you work . I was more than impressed with your first vehicle and to this day you are still doing it,well done.
What a spectacular job... I'm now 63 years old have been washing and polishing cars since I was 8 years old... Currently look after a 2004 Audi A4 Quattro Sport and there was me thinking I knew how to wash and polish it properly...After watching this I'm not even close to it...
Great project to have to work on with the combination of dark colours and tons of swirls. It really shows up all the hard work. Kudos to the owner for wanting to look after a fine example of great car that is short supply as far as decent examples go.
wow awesome work man, nice to see a perfectionist go to work love that color on the rs4 one of my favorite cars. Very inspirational keep up the good work!
Fantastic work & attention to detail .Mugello Blue is by far the best colour on these cars. I currently own a B7 RS4 in Misano Red, which I do detail myself. Nice to see someone doing an indepth blog to showcase your work. Plenty of tips can be learned. Keep up the good work ;-)
Brandon B enjoy your video as well. My shop opens in march love for you to come down shoot a feature for your v log if you want. Sites lead to a Facebook site right now while my page designers are working. But just remember columbusdetailshop.com or columbusdetailshops.com xtremeOCDetail.com uberdetails.com uberlyftdetails.com and I went ahead and bought a bunch other domains as well. Ohiodetailshop.com ohiodetailshops.com I think I got 20 domains lol.
Wow! Amazing video. As a typical 'weekend warrior', seeing what can be achieved with time and huge amounts of skill is truly inspiring. Hope your channel keeps growing.
Mr. White, I stumbled upon you on Instagram and been following for about 6 months. Enjoy your VLOGS and your talent. Thanks for sharing and looking for more to come. Have a great day sir.
wow absolutely beautiful work bro !!! I have a black b7 rs4 in canada it has 100000 miles looks amazing but this is next world clean gj very impressive work!!! Nice job
@Jim I gotta agree with you here you are a detailer not a consultant and the truth is opening a business there is a thousand variables and even more things to do... it's crazy... I too have experienced this as I own a shop of my own. It's A LOT OF WORK. A LOT. Like 24 hours a day. You must love this guys if you wanna open your own shop!
Great content and information. Just recently subscribed to your channel being a keen enthusiast car detailer myself and I have to say your set up and work is excellent! 👌🏾
You are a testament to your craft. Thanks for the insights and tips. On the use of the clay bar, how do you feel about the micropads instead of the clay bar?
Appreciated Brannon. I've only used the clay mitts and bars. I'd like to try Carbon Collective's micropad... I find the mitts marr quite bad but for those cars that are especially contaminated, and are receiving a machine polish anyway, it's no bother - AMDetails Clay by far my favourite
Hi, Great work! could not fault it one bit. Im not sure if someone has already asked and i have missed it, but what did you use on the exhaust silencer box and tip, they come up looking spot on. Also what is your main go to compund and polish? Thanks keep up the great vids never get bored of them.
You're a pro, obviously! very nice work! Love how you take the wheels off to clean. So true about the fine details. I need a 3 inch polisher! So much work! Question - are you listening to music with that head set or is it simply sound deadening?
How you do all the work, film, edit, and advise is quite remarkable. For sure as soon as I get a delivery date on our Kia Nero I’ll be in touch as it’s well worth the price to protect my investment. 👍
Excellent work as always! Love these vlogs! Can't believe the transformation from when it came in. Do you prefer coatings over a wax and/or sealant - if so, why? Is a coating more durable or does it give a better shine? Or is it just a personal preference?
Thanks Mike - appreciate the kinds words. I very rarely reach for a wax; the likes of Crystal Serum can't be matched in a carnauba content for its hardiness and resilience. A wax can be nice to use but ceramics mostly offer greater durability :)
I am new at this but this is just amazing i polish a car in few hours! I have few questions first why you protect chrome parts and plastic bumpers on doors? And i just wanna say amazing job hiw much this cost?
Nice job - but how do you prevent the debris from getting into the cylinders? Do you turn the motor to ensure the valves are closed then rely on the vacuum to pull it all out?
Beautiful work as always... Seems like you forgot my question you said you were going to answer though - Best tips for removing glue residue/black stuff left from wheel weights?
Hi, sorry, I did! Depends how stubborn.. Sometimes you can get away with a heat gun and tar&glue remover but other times you may need a blunt object to help 'lift' the glue without scratching.. (plastic trim remover tool or similar) On the odd occasion, if it isn't that bad, a little cheat is to set your pressure washer to a 'fan' jet and use this to get under the glue and watch it fling off (you will still be left with residue to remove and of course please only try this if your wheels are of good condition to start with with no corrosion, peeling etc!)
Wow fantastic....your an artist my friend... What and where can I purchase what you were using on the front grill of the RS 4 , green foam on a white stick...
You sir are a true perfectionist #subscribed #liked keep it up, please ramble a little bit more why/how/when you can, cannot, blah blah. the devil is in the details, and I would love to hear some deep insight and knowledge from you since I recently decided to chase the path of a detailer. Best regards from Slovenia
First off wow that RS4 was SO damaged prior to your magic brotha! I'm a hobbyist/DIY that digs maintaining my 95' 993 and 02' stage 3 allroad 6MT. Do you polish and correct each section and then wax, or do you typically correct the whole car and go back to give the final finish wax? Just curious. Also, the black wand I see you at times use is that a vacuum? Steam wand? And finally, do you ever use a steam on leather to clean and open pores. I see some detailers do this, but was just curious what you thought. Thanks for taking time to make great videos with excellent sound tracks. Subscribed!
Hi Brian, the black wand (lol) is a vehicle blower, a dryer. A force of wind that is A) used to blow the vehicle dry eliminating trapped water from panel gaps and such before you start the polishing process and then B), is used to remove dust/polish dusting after each polishing set. I mostly cut the whole car, and then follow up with refining stage. Occasionally I will cut and then refine the same panel before moving on but mostly, whole car at a time. Cheers
What are the wipes you use first on the interior? Seems you use them first to get the grimy junk out. And excuse me if you've gone over this before what is you compound and polish of choice.
The satisfaction of seeing a car go from what they are to what you make them must be insanely good, starting to work out logistics for when I get a car I'm proud to own and clean and maintain it. Not a huge car guy but there is something immensely enjoyable about seeing a car look great
Awesome - thanks Jacob
Unbelievable job not only on the car but the video quality
Your a magician . Each and every vehicle you do you put 100% effort and commitment in to it, a credit to you and how you work . I was more than impressed with your first vehicle and to this day you are still doing it,well done.
Thanks Steve :)
I miss my RS4 even more now! Looks like a new car, nice work!!!
What a spectacular job... I'm now 63 years old have been washing and polishing cars since I was 8 years old... Currently look after a 2004 Audi A4 Quattro Sport and there was me thinking I knew how to wash and polish it properly...After watching this I'm not even close to it...
I can appreciate the true professional at work here. There's detailing then there's this. Brilliant thanks.
GREAT DETAILER JIM....
Great project to have to work on with the combination of dark colours and tons of swirls. It really shows up all the hard work. Kudos to the owner for wanting to look after a fine example of great car that is short supply as far as decent examples go.
Beautiful colour with an incredibly deep shine. Amazing job
by far the best detailing video I've ever seen
You certainly brought Life back to that beautiful blue paint. Thank you,
Excellent videos, loving the music but especially your attention to detail! If only I had a vehicle worthy of such treatment!
Wish you'd pull the car outside for natural light at the end! Great as always!
I was hopeful that this would be the case but I'm afraid it was chucking it down (as you will see in vlog #009 which will be online v soon!)
That's what I figured. 👌🏻
Extremely satisfying to watch your work.
wow awesome work man, nice to see a perfectionist go to work love that color on the rs4 one of my favorite cars. Very inspirational keep up the good work!

I like the edging technique never thought of that especially well put to painting a wall analogy
Nice turnaround, love the white detail package.
The Audi RS4 has some good energy... Nice to see how it resonates with you Jim
Amazing work my friend. It is truly an inspirational thing to see. Without a doubt the best detailing content on youtube.

New sub 👍 love your work, really impressed with your quality of workmanship and your videos are superb!
I am new at this but this is just amazing i polish a car in few hours! I have few questions first why you protect chrome parts and plastic bumpers on doors? And i just wanna say amazing job hiw much this cost?
Love that color.....love it so much I had my Ranger painted that color!!
Nice job - but how do you prevent the debris from getting into the cylinders? Do you turn the motor to ensure the valves are closed then rely on the vacuum to pull it all out?
I love the vlog, but the music ... great work :D
Stunning job, also do you only use microfibre pads to do your work
Wow, it looks amazing. But what a lot of work!! How much does a service like this cost?
First of all: WOW! Great stuff :). What i am missing in the video is the reaction of the owner. Would be great :). Keep it up.
Beautiful work as always... Seems like you forgot my question you said you were going to answer though - Best tips for removing glue residue/black stuff left from wheel weights?

Excellent work. Question: Where or how do you pickup the clientele that's willing to pay for this level?
Wow fantastic....your an artist my friend...
What and where can I purchase what you were using on the front grill of the RS 4 , green foam on a white stick...
Thanks mate - the white and green swabs are medical swabs! Will talk about them in the next episode (#010)
Brilliant work on the exhaust, what did you use for that?!

Duh. I thought you had some unique tool you were using lol! I appreciate the response man and merry Xmas!
What are the wipes you use first on the interior? Seems you use them first to get the grimy junk out.
And excuse me if you've gone over this before what is you compound and polish of choice.
compound for this one was Koch Chemie H8 - RE the leather wipes, stay tuned for episode #009 which will be online v shortly!
Nice job, sir! I found the video because I own an RS4 ;) Would you mind sharing what ceiling lighting you're using? I like the square boxes.
Great job, remove emblemes is so genious !
What brand lift you got?
also would you think you would have any issue dropping the engine with the hoist and car?
When you cut in with the 3inch on the cutting stage do you do the same on the refining stage? Same order but just less aggressive polish & pad?
amazing... always...
congrats!!!
