The turquoise water 😍 So many rich Indian stars go to the Maldives, Thailand & Bali, but not the Andaman Islands. Instead of supporting their own country tourism economy, they rather spend on other countries. #smh
Andaman and nicobar aren’t as big as Maldives or Bali and nowhere near when it comes to tourism related infrastructure.
@@mehroseemehrosee3887 of course not, but A&N & Lakshadweep have potential to be popular holiday/honeymoon destination too, if only India fully developed the islands.
@@amypreem5225 it cannot become an international tourist hotspot but certainly can gain huge traction domestically only if developed with proper planning.
It will be good if only few people go there.

Anna, if I am not wrong the people looking like us tribal in Nicobar might be one of the tai khamti tribes, because some old people from the khamti society long ago used to tell us stories that during the British raj , divide n rule policy one group of the khamti's where sent there, one in assam, present day Lakhimapur. Because if they stayed together they always conspirayed against the British. So they divided them. It might be true or not I don't know exactly.
Nicobarese aren't tai khamti descendants, they are closely related to sumatra people and speak austronesian language.
