You are suffering from misinformation and disinformation, selective data and manipulation of the narrative. There is nothing illegal about entering a country to seek asylum; methods of doing so might be irregular , and profiteering from people's desperation to the extent of charging extortionate amounts is not new, but entering any country to seek asylum, with or without authorisation, is not illegal and is internationally recognised as a human right.
Using force (e.g. naval or border forcevessels) to turn asylum seekers back is internationally recognised as a breach of human rights, and is usually associated with fascism, isolationism and extreme nationalism by administrations that insist on these rights for themselves whilst denying these rights to others.

I worked for a company delivering supply's to the hotels, where they are given mobile phone, money, cloths and food all for free. To give you people in support of the invasion a taste of their attitude, we were delivering new mattresses to the hotel, and they refused them and demanded memory foam ones instead. France's obligation it seems is to ensure safety and no one dies in their waters and will escort to the mid-channel, where the UK then picks them up. IT IS REDICULOUS. The Irish then claimed to have been sending the immigrants back to the UK within hours of arriving. Ireland proposed emergency legislation that would enable them to return migrants back to the UK if they had travelled there via N.I.
The UK though has refused to accept any attempt at returning migrants, none have been returned since 2020.
There's also the issue of the Dublin Regulation. One of the things we lost when Brexit happened was being a party to the Dublin Regulation. We have no mechanism now to return migrants to France. This is the main reason things have accelerated so much since Brexit.

I don't think it's been down to the government for a long time, their is a global repositioning of hierarchy in place due to effects of poverty and global warming etc, the reset they have been on about is because we have messed up the planet so much leeched the planet of most of its resources and over populated past our means, the United nations are likely to take control really soon once our fake government has made things as impossible for us to live in effectively, then they will probably take full control of everything and unite the whole world to work together but for them to take over I think they have to make things that bad for everyone that when they do step in we will then accept it but it takes a certain level of brain washing first, the borders will not close, taxes will rise astronomically and lots of us will end up losing our homes and possibly our lives aswel before it's all happens, this is just my understanding of it, I don't believe this is down to the labour parry, I believe this has been discussed with all the countries political leaders
