- In this video, I have shared my experience of 17inch tubeless conversion on Royal Enfiled Interceptor 650. I have tried to cover each and every minor details which I've gone through this entire process. Instead of a few weeks, sadly this project has taken months (arranging the rim, alloy, hub, tyres etc).
Front - 17inch tubeless rim (dismotech)
Rear - 17inch meteor alloy wheel (RE spare parts)
Front Tyre - Apollo Alpha H1 (110|70 - 17)
Rear Tyre - Apollo Alpha H1 (150|60 - 17)

PRICE BIFURCATION:
Font RIM: 18000(with spokes)
Font Hub: 4000
Rear Alloy: 6000

Just converted my stock rims to tubeless by using an all purpose epoxy and a tire sealant. Been running it for 6 days now without any pressure changes. I hope my diy home job will last!🙂
With my own experience I want to caution you of sudden deflation due to leakage of air through spoke holes! I had faced so sudden and threatening wobble at around 80 kms/hr speed of bike's front wheel and I escaped the disaster on the highway, narrowly, using my skills and years of driving experience as the amount of airleak through spoke holes is tremendous and very sudden! Yes, some vehicles may be running on such arrangements of putting Outex or other packing solutions to make the rims, tubeless for months but you can't be 100% sure whether next time, your turn to face the disaster won't be there! So, please keep in mind, it's "jugaad" and it's not full proof solution! Please!

@@drvivekmallan its been 9 months of used already, no problem whatsoever! I got a pantured on the rear tire twiced, pulled out the nails and the sealant did its job. Did not even bothered to patched it!

My personal experience from them is really bad paid 25000 for the rims in December 2023 and here im in june 13,2024 yet to receive my complete order.😢😢 i call them they dont pick up and when i messaged them on all platforms they ignore it.

Dude....I had the exact same problem with dismotech....they took 6 fu****g months to complete my order for a set of 390 adventure hubs and rim set. In between..they had sent me a set of rims that was supposed to go to some northeast state as well.... These guys are full of shit...and full amount was taken in advance....
yes, they need to work on their logistics and also how to manage orders.. otherwise they will definitely loose their customers..
Sir with due respect, you have made a wrong choice of tyre sizes for your bike.....front tire should never be smaller than rear tyre. Especially when the bike frame is straight and not offset. Typically front tyres are larger than rear tyres...... never the other way..... even stock tyres in interceptor are same size just the width are different. Front is 100x90xR18 and rear is 130x70xR18.....so circumference is same for both tyres

no issue so far, and yes you can do this for xpulse tubeless rims for both front and rear 😇

Guys don't install these rims no one is mentioning that you need spacers and bushers for this rims to fit and it makes wheel aligned to right and not in parallel with rear tire , which won't give comfortable ride and will break the rimm sooner or later l....

Well Done Brother, Bro hunter front alloy is also perfect fit for interceptor, just you have to install in opposite direction & our stock interceptor speedometer will not work.
To be honest, this 17-inch stuff doesn't look nice on the bike, Bouna sa lag raha hai GT.

Brother does it stop the tyres wobbling issue with the interceptor, also can you share the entire cost of this upgrade, due to the wobbling issue I am kind of lost hope with the interceptor and wanted to change with something else, your response will be most helpful, thank you for taking your valuable time.

Recently i ordered suspension for aerox but since last 2 months they r yet to deliver my product got pissed off by dismotech now they told me they will be refunding my money but since last 3 days no money is being credited ! I just got soo pissed off calling everytime to that guy

Congrats bro! I too have heard about highly unprofessional handling of logistics by Dismotech chaps but simultaneously, I have read about good stuff they make to special requirements in the same thread! Please share your experience about the front spoked tubeless rim alteration, definately! It's extremely critical solution to the perennial problem of tubed tyre punctures of our Himalayan while we also want to retain the spoked wheel too (albeit with some good and dependable tubeless arrangements). Installation of your bike's front tubeless spoked tyre seems to have achieved the success of both worlds : flexibility of spoked rim and nullification of puncture problem to large extent! We had tried outex arrangements for making the spoked wheel as tubeless but I can tell you with experience that the arrangement is frought with danger at relatively high speeds or with luggage & pillion! We desperately need good spoked rim with tubeless arrangement which must be dependable! Which seems to have been found by you! Please share your experience!
Another question : why didn't you change the rear wheel to spoked tubeless wheel as you have done with the front one?? Was it deliberate?🤔
It's very shameful of Indian bike manufacturers about not providing option for spoked tubeless rims whereas, the unknown Chinese brand Zontes, which has introduced 350 cc bikes in India recently is readily providing spoked wheel with tubeless arrangement as standard! Shame on bloody local bike manufacturers here🤬 These buggers should at least provide the option for us to purchase it separately, if they are not providing it as standard equipment! How bloody shameless! Isn't it??🤔

Vilas ji, very aptly put. RE is at the fore front of being Shameless and Deaf to customer feedback...... they think engines need to be good the rest of the bike can be a pristine example of bad engineering.

@@Techiemotorist I haven't faced any issues while braking, whether it's normal braking or panic braking. The seat height has been adjusted to a level where I'm comfortable; my height is 5'6", and I now feel more comfortable with 17 inches compared to the previous 18 inches.

I got response from 2-3 people who are using. They are facing bending issue and losing air pressure after 2-3k km.
