"Need" notwithstanding, Tarek Fatah is a Canadian citizen residing in Canada. He would have to give up Canadian citizenship in order to accept Indian since India does not permit dual nationality. A "Special Case" of "OCI" (Overseas Citizen of India) or "PIO" (Person of Indian Origin) maybe an option. These are long term visas for NRIs but a 10-year multiple entry "pleasure/business" visa would serve as well. Your thoughts if you think this would be a reasonable for him assuming that he does not want to give up being a Canadian.
