    hey mate :) theres a trick to warp more easy....before u drag and drop a sample with a different tempo, make your project to the same tempo and, drop the sample and then ajust the tempo back to your original track tempo,...now ableton do set the warp markers on the right transients. enjoy, keep doing :)

      If I may ask, why are you moving from Logic to Ableton? I ask this because I use Ableton Live but I was suggested to switch to Logic. I got curious.

    • @BettinaCalmon
      @BettinaCalmon 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@NatashaSallesSoprano heeey, it's a good question, actually to be honest I'm using both. I think both have ups and downs, logic is pretty good for midi edit, it feels easier and intuitive. But I like live built-in effects and instruments. When I switch I feel a creativity boost. So I would say it's worth learning both.

    • @BettinaCalmon

      @@NatashaSallesSoprano I've been using both now. I think both have ups and downs, logic is a good midi editor and very intuitive. It feels easier. I like live effects and instruments. I feel like switching forces your brain to see things differently which is a good creativity boost. :) How is your experience so far?

    • @NatashaSallesSoprano
      @NatashaSallesSoprano 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BettinaCalmon I only have Live, I’ve been happy so far and I’m still a beginner, I might at some point feel like trying something else, but now that I’m short on money, I’ll learn as much as I can from Live before finally spending some money on another DAW. But thanks for the answer, if I ever try another DAW it will definitely be Logic.

    • @BettinaCalmon
      @BettinaCalmon 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NatashaSallesSoprano Yes, good thought. As I use logic forever, about 10 years, that's why I'm trying something new! :) I recommend going really deep on one daw.

    Such an excellent tutorial. Can you please tell me how to selected an edited chunk of audio? When i select part of the audio, it only selects the first edit, as opposed to the edited section, if that makes sense. It seems that you automatically are able to select an edited section, whereas I must have some setting on that only allows me to select edit by edit...which is cumbersome, to say the least. Thank you!!

    Nice instructional vid but could you please use some more pleasant audio samples in future videos? This sample is rough on the ears on its own. Hearing something with some musical value makes it easier to understand the changes made, such as using a basic set of notes. Keep up the great tutorials.
