It happened to me once, that the rubber tip came off on its own (when injecting the softfood), and was swallowed by a baby cockatiel, so the baby had to be in surgery by a vet. since then, I never used it.
@@herlinaeffendi this is a risk of feeding with tube but the tube only comes out of it is reused for multiple days. I change it every day and never had this issue. But good point, I should include that into my videos. Thank you.

Nice observation👌. I do this to ensure that while they are growing they will not pick up the habit of biting our hand. They know then the hand provides food. 🤗
It’s difficult to say in message, I would say feed 15ml in the morning and see when crop gets empty.. usually in 4hrs… and then decide.. if it takes 6hrs then 3 times is good.. also introduce millet so that they start getting taste of seeds…

Hey, they were from different clutches. Mom and dad both will take care of eggs incubation, mostly mom at night and dad during day. That’s what my cockatiel followed. You can candle eggs after 7 days and see which one are fertile. All the best.

Hey Angie, All baby birds should be raised by their parents. That way they get all necessary care and nutrition. But sometimes, parents reject these babies OR not able to feed them OR start plugging their feathers and these things could cause these babies their lives. Only in these cases an hand feeding option is suitable to save them. Naturally raised cockatiels are healthier. I did not put this message initially in my videos but my recent hand feed videos I’ve stressed on it. You can watch first day of hand feeding and first week of hand feeding videos on my channel and there I’ve shown it. Thank you 😊

Hey, that’s a very careful observation.. bravo.. as you described, your birds are taking care of babies. when parents plugs feathers then you will immediately notice that babies make distress sound and try to run away. Also you can notice broken feathers on babies body. If you give enough food, calcium and multivitamins then there are less chances of feather plugging. All the best.

It’s funny this is Bob in Connecticut this looks amazing. But to be honest my albino cockatiel Harley Quinn she kept laying eggs they kept hatching and the pet stores basically told me that the mother and father regurgitates and they might survive. I live in a small studio apartment. Well they would always die after about three days so last year she had two more babies and this time I gave them some small pellets and water I didn’t use a dropper or anything. They are very healthy they are adorable one of them is gray her name is wolverine and the other one is white but she is not total albino her name is Phoenix. The bad news Harley Quinn passed away in December and I never cage any of the birds i’d let them do what they want.
Depends on quality of syringe, if you find it difficult to push formula then it’s time to change. Sometimes it’s two days or three or four.. all depends on quality of syringes

Means i bought a pair nd the breeder said that its approximately of 1 month nd since last 16 days i started feeding them but now they have started eating on their own , so what should i do ?? Cozz they can even fly nd now they can react to my commands too , so i'm bit confused that r they really 1 nd 1/2 month babies?? Plzz reply!!
Usually in week 7 to 10 they become independent. First sign is that they start eating on their own and not interested to take hand feed. It is a good sign that they started flying but then you have to be careful as they might want to fly away and crash with glass windows. One and half months means they are 6 weeks old so keep them rearing for couple of weeks.

It bothered me that the person placing the babies in the box seemed rather rough. These are fragile and innocent little babies. You handle them with love, patience and care. I feel the person was too rough. And you just don't do that.

He is skinnier that is why taken for hand feeding. Still adjusting to feed.. so little less is good.

Yes, it is possible by doing DNA test. Also after 12 weeks you can also check pelvic bone to see if it’s a male or female.
