Heya! First of all, thank you very much for the video. As a big BFG fan, I love it when there are more and more videos here and there about my favourite game system. However, I noticed a few mistakes in your explanation, which are probably due to the fact that the latest rules may not be taken into account, such as the fact that escorts only burst on a 4+ in hit and run attacks. I can only recommend the Remastered Rulebook, which contains all the official rules and updates.
WHFB and 40k were both integral to my childhood in terms of introducing me to wargaming and larger aspects of science fiction/fantasy literature, themes, tropes, etc etc, but BFG will always have a special place in my heart as perhaps one of the out-and-out funnest games GW produced. Love this video, looking forwards to the Eldar tactica so I can relive memories of absolutely ruining my best friends days with Eagle bombers.
There is an Eldar video where I was very sick with Covid and kind of gibber in an amusing way while I build an Eldar fleet if you want something to tide you over.
Hi, I just started the BFG Space Marines fleet, and that video is a great guide to me. Now I need a tactics solutions against my brother chaos fleet. Good job and please more content. Greatings from Poland
Tactics against Chaos you say? I shall give it some thought. I have a chaos fleet so maybe when my marine fleet is done I can do another battle report video as marines Vs chaos.
Strike cruisers have 2 turrets. They were updated officially in the 2010 compendium. Masters of the fleet do not get any free re-rolls. This means they cap out at 3 re-rolls to imperial fleets 4. In addition to thunderhawks you also get teleport attacks which can be very very nasty when combined with the thunderhawks, and you get boarding torpedoes in addition to normal torpedoes on a few hulls. They are amazing at exterminatus and planetary assault missions, but come up short in fleet engagements. The armour of 6 is a massive pain though. You also don’t need to be in B2B to combine firepower, that just applies to massing turrets, and launching ordnance

Cool video. I love the game and the astartes fleet is my jam.
And then the Necrons show up...
Planning a necton fleet tactics video at some point, I've never used one though nor played against them. Have to see if I can source some ships.
@@90percentgeek they are quite broken
Perfect!
@@welshminipainter glad you enjoyed it!
Where can i buy these? As this is a game i would like to play.
Sadly it's OOP, so your best bet is eBay. There are companies out there selling decent 3D printed versions of these though. It's an awesome game!
