Completely destroys lives and society. Most addicts start using because of abuse of some type. Addicts end up criminals in some way very often. The impact of the true predators is endless. Yet they get the slaps on the wrist and the people who were victims at some point get crazy sentences for doing things to attempt to avoid or survive their abuse. It’s so backward. The whole system needs to be reformed.

You'd be surprised how many women put their boyfriends or husbands first. It's AWFUL. My mums ex husband assaulted me and was just a terrible person and abuser in general and she still stayed with him! She'll post on my siblings (his kids) instagram account saying how many years its been since he's died or that they miss him and it makes me want to throw up and kill myself. Here’s my theory of what happened: Naomi, a young innocent child, befriends this man. thinking he was a nice man, a bro, a homie. So young, she didn’t know anything about the dangers of the world, so one day, she is invited to his home, telling her he has candy, or something to lure her in.
She’s hesitant, but she goes in anyway, because she’s nervous. She doesn’t want to say no, but she complies cuz she trusts him.
Later inside, he tries making sexual remarks to her, brushes up against her, pulls on her shirt. Everything he said about her doing things to him, is what he actually did to her.
She begins to feel uncomfortable, tries to leave, but the man is eager to have his way…
he gets angry, frustrated, so he begins to strangle the poor girl. She tells no, no, she doesn’t want to, and tries to fight him off but he’s too strong, he abuses her, and in a fit of rage he takes her life away.
He blacks out, and cannot stop himself now, there’s no turning back. And he watches her eyes slowly fade away, And begins to violate. And after that, he puts candy in her mouth as an insult to injury,
Just as he intended to give her before she came into his home.

I was almost in her shoes when I was 12 I had a neighbor that liked me in a romantic way one day when I was coming home from school he pulled me into the bush and told me that he was in love with me and that he had a crush on me ever since I was 11 and that when I turned 16 we would run away together and get married and he said that I would have his children and when I attempted to scream all of a sudden he put one hand over my mouth and pull it out a knife instead if I screamed he would cut my throat because although he loved me too much he didn't want to go to jailbut luckily my sister saw us and immediately started screaming raising heck in my dad came running and see what was going on and my sister told her everything and my dad had begun beating the brakes out of the guy my neighbor learned his lesson that day and my dad did no jail time for that assault but for now on me and my sister we would walk home together. I'm just thankful to be alive today rip Naomi.🙏

As a former police officer, I have a problem with the Pensacola Police Department posting the full names, addresses and telephone numbers of some of the innocent people in this video without blacking out their information while interrogating this scumbag. That is so unprofessional. Posting this type of information on TH-cam can possibly bring harm to these people by a distraught family member or mentally ill person who does not have all of the facts in this case but blames these people for knowing the suspect. Remember TH-cam is seen around the world in almost every country. My condolences go out to the family for the lost of their precious baby girl.

Off topic/tangential to this case: I wonder, how low must your self esteem be, or, conversely, how lacking in empathy or compassion must you be for other women and girls, that you would consider a two time child rapist to be a perfectly acceptable choice as a boyfriend? I guess sex offenders always spin and minimise what they were convicted of, which is why it’s unfortunately necessary to do a background check before dating someone to verify for yourself exactly what they were guilty of committing. But I just don’t understand why anyone would knowingly date and have a child with a rapist.

She wants to get her kids back, and we told her that it's not going to happen when the state finds out that you are dating a sex offender, let a long get an apartment. She told us that she is used to dating guys like that, and it would not be a problem. I said, you do understand that you will either lose your kids by law or by death, dealing with these kinds of people. She just shrugged it off. A few months in, she no longer wants to be with him because he is all of a sudden controlling. We can't move her now because she is stuck with him. Her self-esteem is so low, it is ridiculous. I have so many stories like this, it's insane.

I came from a broken, hateful home. Had issues with older boys as a child but there was no intervention, I was basically just told it was because they liked me. I must have internalized that because I felt that's all I was good for. I became homeless at 18, developed a drug habit, and met a guy who would feed me all the drugs in the world.
His family had gotten him a good lawyer, and the case was somehow dismissed. He told me about it but minimized it.
Now we have a kid and the judge won't rule in favor of supervised visits because of no convictions (he does have domestic abuse convictions against him from me, along with injury to a child (from another relationship)). I'm fighting hard in court to protect my kid but if you don't have money or a law degree, you don't get the opportunity for justice as easily.

Unfortunately it's not that uncommon for people who've been assaulted to grow up and do it to other people. A few female artists I've liked have been acussed of assaulting people then turn around and say "actually well I was assaulted so I'd never do that to someone else" when theres literal proof of it. Being assaulted previously does not magically make you exempt from doing it to someone else. Even if they don't think something is assault because they want something to happen and arent thinking of it from the victims side, its still assault whichever way you spin it. I find it very telling when they tell him"we saw your car where we found the body" and he said "it is impossible." How can he tell it is impossible, if he should not know where they found the body!

Noticed this as well. I think that's why the female detective immediately replied with "why is it impossible?" Hoping he would say "because I wasn't at x location" also I don't know if where they found her body was public information at that point. You would hope it wouldn't be but if a news crew were covering the area where they were searching it could have already been public info and he could have used that as an excuse
Why did they need to get his DNA? As a convicted SO, shouldn't his DNA be on the database?
They just use it as added evidence. Juries are tough.

As an already known sexer, im shocked they didn't have his DNA on file. I thought they always did that when someone was convicted of a sex crime.
He was convicted in the 90’s, I would venture to guess the laws changed dramatically since then

Still, registered sex offenders have to check in with the local police to update their information every year or so. I’d hope that they are collecting DNA from men who committed sex crimes prior to DNA tech during these check-ins.

The real problem was that his girlfriend allowed him into the complex in a way that nobody knew his background. This was letting a wolf in sheep's clothing hide in plain sight until he got his victim. People who live in apartments need to report when single neighbors have move in "boyfriends" to property management so they can investigate who is actually living there versus lease information.
Exactly! They were playing the system with his sex offender living requirements. That’s why he could only stay there a few times a week. That girlfriend is SICK and is culpable too. She knew he was a registered sex offender regardless if he downplayed his actions or not, he was registered!
I routinely check my registry list in my area but I know those are only the ones caught and in compliance.

IMO he was about to confess that she was chocked to death during oral sex, then the investigator gave him an out by saying he strangled her with his hands, and the perpetrator grabbed that explanation. I also believe he placed the candy in her mouth either to destroy DNA evidence or as decoy that the victim strangled on the candy instead of him. This theory would explain why he didn’t SA her otherwise as she had died during the initial act.
