its a steel string acoustic guitar :) you can use a Classical guitar too, it just has nylon strings instead of steel :)

Whats the point of the Em7 chord when neither the 4th or 5th string are played during it?!
If you hit the wrong string is will still sound ok - the underlying chord is still and Em7 and therefore should be played. It's standard for guitarists to do this :)

hi i am super beginner and I'm curious one thing. Why some of strings that you don't even make a sound are still held? for example Em7's 1 and 2, you hold them but don't even sound them. why? sorry like i said I am super beginner.
Because the underlying chord is still Em7. It's good practice to do this and not take shortcuts. If you accidentally hit the wrong strings, the chord will still sound ok!
