I won’t argue with you because I don’t have enough experience, but I will say I buy more ND because I want more mattes than shimmers. I love the mattes in my PMG palettes, but there are so few!
Welcome back Mariam. I so wished PML had done her version of this colour story - neutral browns. While I can see that the mattes aren’t going to be flattering on everyone, those neutral bronze shimmers are beautiful. I had completely forgotten about the bronze in the Venus in Fleurs quad. So thanks.
I was so excited to see a new video! Welcome back! I hope you had a fantastic and relaxing holiday!! This was so much fun! I’m really loving my Natasha Nude midi. But…Ultimate Taupe from Pat remains my favorite cool brown of all time! I really, really like Natasha Denona mattes especially the wide variety of shades available, but nothing tops the Pat McGrath matte formula for me in performance. I think some of the new Natasha metallic/sparkle formulas are kind of similar-ish to the non-baked “special shades” formulas or sparkly metallics from Pat McGrath. (Formula wise, not necessarily shade wise) I think Natasha’s Muse is like a cross between Moonlit Seduction’s Blitz Venus and Astral Gold Lust. I can also see a shade like Divine Dahlia from Interstellar Icon perfectly at home in this Natasha Nude midi. I think these new Natasha Denona metallic/shimmer formulas are really starting to reach the performance level of Pat McGrath non-baked metallic /shimmer formulas. (And none of them can hold a candle to the baked shades,of course. Nothing compares to Astral Solstice when you swatch it. It’s in a league of its own!)
I had the best holiday thank you!!! I think this palette has its pros and cons but overall I am happy to have it because it comes closer to what I wanted to see from Pat. But there is no question that in general, to me, Pat operates at a different level.

Hope you had a great vacay ❤ I got this palette, and to me the shimmers are mostly much more subtle than Pat's special shades (except for Muse), but it's a great "everyday" palette if you NEED some sparkle in every look (as I do, lol). I have a neutral undertone so this works well for me. Can't wait to see you do some looks with it 😘

Thanks for the comparisons. It’s amazing how some of the shades I imagined would be dupes are not even close! This palette definitely stays within a narrow range of depth.

I think Alicia, Samantha March and Lauren Mae Beauty also have codes. I am sure there are others. I looove this palette. It is perfect for me and looks I like to do. With my cool undertone, these look fabulous! For me this is the perfect work trip palette where I have everything I need. Spectacular!

This palette has a very specific undertone that will certainly not suit everyone. But that is often the case, I did not like Retro at all because it is absolutely not my tones. In general, I rate Pat's quality higher, as much as I love my ND palettes.

Yay, the video I requested! I really wanted to have it compared to those 3 shades in the celestial divinity most of all, and I see there was a reason. That shimmer is my favorite, and i don't struggle much with mattes, so this gave me a good idea about how the INAN palette is like. I'd like to see the mid toned neutral from the CD compared to the warmer tones in the INAN but that's not why I'm here, really!

Definitely check out reviews from people of deeper skin tone. It seemed to show up just fine on Cara and Alicia but they are not the deepest out there. I think on very deep skin it will certainly hit limits.

The I need a Nude palette really gives me bridal vibes. It doesn’t speak to me at all, even though all the shades by themselves look very pretty. I have the glam midi palette and the two glam face palettes so I really don’t need or want this one 😊
