Nice finds brother! Way to give back! Humility is the best way to express how blessed you are to share such an amazing job you have! Thank you for all the sharing! I had no idea there is an opening day for shed hunting. I will have to look to see if NM has an opening day for shed hunting. I have been so busy with it finishing my degree and family this year will be the first year I go shed hunting! Not afraid to admit it I am 40 and finally 22 years later I am completing my Bachelors degree in accounting! After this I will have more time for family and I will be able to squeeze in more hunting and for sure next spring a couple of trips for shed hunting! Since I did not draw this year I will be helping out a couple of friends for archery elk that did get drawn and then if my Dad is able to pick up a senior cow tag for late November. Thank you Hush for all the pointers and sharing your experiences!

Man I know this reply is late but obviously a killer day you had out and just saying your shed hunting series this year has inspired me so much to keep out there searching for some more bone and to keep my chin up even in a "poor" day, so thanks a bunch for that! Keep doing what your doing, you don't know how much this inspires us as a younger generation of hunters!

Glad y’all found some! Awesome day! I’m in CO and every place I went had been poached out pre season. I’m all about having a set day opener but not if the wardens keep doing nothing to prevent the poaching. Everyone Ive spoken too experienced the exact same results. Suuuuuuuucks. I love shed hunting, but the tables aren’t even anymore for people who follow the rules! Thanks for nothing CPW!!

Awesome trip. Never shed hunted in a state that has a season opener. Happened once here in Utah when we had a harsh winter. Still saw the poaching going on here in Southern Utah. I feel it's almost as bad as the jerks that drive their quads and side by sides all over. Wish DWR would start pushing to stop it. But as usual you crush the shed hunt and make it very entertaining. Keep them videos rolling.

Amen to Jason ... I've become disabled due to an accident. What I loved and lived for was suddenly a huge challenge for me. Even with the best situation , im not able to experience what truly was something I couldn't get enough of and being limited on almost everything else I try to do ...

I hunt arrowheads in Creeks and plowed fields here in TN and find arrowheads in between people's footprints or just a few feet beside where they had stepped and just couldn't see it
