I think the last question is pretty hard. I would do 7k twice. They will probably take both. Depending on life though. Then you gamble if they got a 2k counter from life. Lets hope not and try 13 lead. If they have a brick and 1k life you win. You can also do 7k, 7k, 5k,5k and 11k asuming they take the first 2. Or the 5k first

For scenario 3 If they counter out of all attacks I’d swing 7k 7k 5k 7k 9k math lethal. If they take at all I don’t think it’s possible to math lethal.

What am I missing on scenario two here - having one life allows them to take the largest hit, so the stacked final hit is negligible and shouldn't be included in the required card amount right? Meaning they could ignore the final 7k or 10k in B and D.
Option B requires at best 4 2ks and 4 1ks (accepting the final 7k hit).
Option D requires at best 2 2ks and 5 1ks (accepting the final 10k hit).
    isn't B here way better?

Not sure I agree with scenario two. B seems optimal with the limited information.
    B asks for: 2k1k,2k1k,2k1k,2k1k (8 cards but 12k total, 4 of those 2ks)
    D asks for: 1k,1k,1k,1k, 2k2k1k (7 cards but 9k total, only 2 2ks)
Reiju also plays less 2ks than most decks so giving them a bunch of 5s is worse imo

      D asks for 7 cards not 9 five 1ks and two 2ks

@@headshot5703 oops typo. It's one of the reasons I think B is correct

    Wait isn't 5k 5k 17k only 9 cards, requiring 3 1ks and 6 2ks

@kekfilaTCG I think there's confusion as what I meant and thats on me. In scenario 1, I'm not disputing the reasoning for Answer B being correct, I'm saying that Answer A doesn't require 10 cards, it requires 9, so that 2nd paragraph about both A and B needing 10 doesn't track.

Yea he’s just saying the article has a typo or error. 2 5k swings is 2 cards + 7 needed to get to 18k. I think this is another quantifiable reason why the 5k swings are the better strategy besides potentially having the opponent not having enough 1k counters to optimally counter out

What’s the benefit of 5k/5k/7k/9k/9k over 7k/7k/7k/7k/7k? In the first scenario

@@fums63 first scenario, your opponent is at 0 life . When your opponent is at 0 life you play the math differently than a normal 7,7,7,7 process.
