My husband has allergies and I feel like it might be something in our home. The previous owner did some mold remediation from water damage and I wonder if it was not fully taken care of so we really need to have someone come in and do a thorough inspection.
Well I take the NYC MTA everyday to and from work so I'm realizing that we could be absorbing everyone else's EMFs on those crowded trains. I also work at a hospital where the lights are harsh with a ton of EMS from all that equipment. So I have to take the responsibility to help ease these toxins at home. Thank you for such an important episode
Thank you so much for talking about this. I have been struggling with environmental sensitivities for decades. Most people that I meet do not think about these things but I need to in order to thrive. Love to you and yours.
Another thing that people do not do is, clean their air ducts, change filters, clean and inspect their HVAC system. If your house is under 10 years old, inspect your foundation of your house and plumbing. Look for any water leaks because it creates mold and roaches. Keep any sort of yard trash away from the house ( leaves, branches, high grass)
I am seeing my home through a new set of eyes today that's for sure. Sadly I looked up many of the items that were talked about and I'm betting for the majority of people it's not possible to invest in these monitors, bulbs, etc. I can't justify the financial cost despite the possible health benefits. If you don't have the $$ you just don't have the $$. I still plan to do whatever possible to improve on these hidden toxins but in a way that I can financially afford. It's definitely going to take some serious thought to figure out how to reach my end goal. Another excellent episode.
There is not one size fits all - listen to my body - what is my gut, my intuition telling me - we all have our own internal guidance system and we are taught to ignore that.
I just listened till the end of this podcast and I also have MCS . It’s not easy to navigate every day life . Thank you for bringing awareness to the world
I’m in Australia and I have bought lots of bulbs and night lights, reading lights etc from the company Block Blue Light. They are fantastic and definitely help me sleep 100% better since using them!
I'm super sensitive to scented items. My skin doesn't break out but the smell of cleaners, soaps, perfumes, candles, etc. all give me an immediate headache. Some of the scents make me cough, I have to chug water to stand being around them. Most people think I'm crazy for it. I can taste the scents in dishes if I don't rinse them first.
I love your podcast and learn something or get inspiration from every episode I listen to. There are several things I walked away with after this episode, but one that is extremely important to me is the Radon gas. I run a business that focuses on pet cancer education. In all my research, this never came up. I have already started research on radon gas and our pets. Thank you for this information!
Brilliant vid, fam. I have a bad reaction to something my girlfriend puts on herself, (shampoo, moisturizer, etc.). Thanks for turning me on to the MSDS. It's still a process of elimination, but this is super cool. Respect.
I get so dizzy and lightheaded in the shower after 10 minutes. I had no idea I could be absorbing chemicals from the steam breathing it in, or through my skin! Yikes 😬
Cell Phones do emit photons. The RF signal sent out from the antenna is a form of photon energy. Do they send out particles? Ask Einstein! Light (RF energy) exhibits both wave and particle properties!
Yeah, whatever Elon Musk is, „brilliant“ he certainly is not 🤦🏼♀️ Or maybe brilliant means „greedy, ruthless, not-taking-science-too-seriously“ now? 🤔
It’s so difficult to balance this, and I guess the balance is on a personal level anyway, but if you take this stuff to heart, you can easily fast forward to being scared to breathe. This is absolutely against my view of minimalism. Onboarding this info can result in a very cluttered mind. More things to worry about, more things to “fix” in the way you live your life and more topics that can cause multiple mini blocks to the flow we need in life. Sometimes we listen to so many people with an idealistic viewpoint that will never fit into most people’s life. You listen to 4-5 “ideologies” framed in a way that subtly suggests you’re not living life in the right way, then you spend more time living in a way you’ve been told to live as opposed to really living for your own personal cause. Living to your 3-4 core values is more important than living this “perfect life” triangulated around three separate viewpoints adopted of a podcast like this. That, to me, is true minimalism. That, to me, is living intentionally. I get podcasts need to diversify and cover a range of topics, but falling into the standardised podcast model can risk losing the usp of the minimalists. Maybe I that’s why Ryan is going in a different direction now. Also circadian lighting is a major topic in lighting focused sciences and across lighting industries, this view posed today is only one particular view, so if it’s of interest to you, please zoom out on the subject.
BUYER BEWARE CAVEAT EMPTOR- the principle that the buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made. Fact- it is on us consumers to be responsible for what we buy.
Loved the content, I too hate commercials, so it's ironic that this podcast felt like one big commercial?!?! I don't know why, but I feel like if the shamwow guy and eckhart tolle had a baby, it would be the blonde guy LMAO, I'm not hating, I really mean that with all due respect. Great info, strange delivery. Going to subscribe still ;)
Why would you have a CO2 meter? I would think an O2 meter would be more useful. CO2, to really be an issue has to be inordinately high, so high that it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever see those levels in normal living. The main issue with too much CO2 is that it typically means not enough O2 (oxygen). I would rather know how much O2 is in the air than CO2.
I'm so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever, hoping to retire next year.. Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life
The first step in every successful investment is to establish your goals and risk tolerance, a task best undertaken with the assistance of a financial advisor with extensive financial market knowledge like Fergus Waylen
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing him been mentioned here also Didn't know he has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, i'm in my fifth trade with him and it has been super
I don't want to put a figure to how much i've made doing that but let's just say it's more than enough to make trading worthwhile. And when i say worthwhile, i mean it.
You know, I kind of agree with you. Some of the video topics are just wildly unrealistic. In regards to this video, you can do everything 100% and go way above and beyond the norms and still get taken out by a drunk driver. Life is short and we all have expiration dates. Live life like a pot roast: low and slow with a bunch of savory good stuff for a tasty ending.
Why aren't there regulations? Seriously?? Because Republicans regularly fight against regulating big business. Regulations are rolled back EVERY TIME we elect a Republican President. More government = tougher regulations.
I really enjoy listening to your podcast, but this episode was too much for me, trying to control every variable in our environments feels like the opposite of letting go.
What’s one kind of invisible clutter that you have problems with?
Good vid guys !
I’d say blue light , dust from my ac unit and dirty rugs that need to be cleaned in home to name a few 😅
☝One roach somewhere 😬...Just ONE...😖 And, I HATE it!!! 😥
that flying one thats faster than you@@la_baby_khalil7703

I feel like you should make goals to make the amount of money you need to make these health changes, desire = results

You guys deserve every success in the world. Fan for life! Love for life ❤
Do all dimmable LED bulbs flicker?
One good thing you could say about the old incandescent bulbs is that they had zero flicker!
I get so dizzy and lightheaded in the shower after 10 minutes. I had no idea I could be absorbing chemicals from the steam breathing it in, or through my skin! Yikes 😬
You might want to consider a shower water filter. There are some great ones out there.
You might need to see a doctor, too. Circulatory problems can make you dizzy in the shower. 🤷🏻♀️
I can't get hot. A long hot shower, hot tub, sitting in a hot vehicle, etc all make me dizzy/nauseous.
Thank you for this episode and bringing awareness about every day toxins
Cell Phones do emit photons.
The RF signal sent out from the antenna is a form of photon energy.
Do they send out particles?
Ask Einstein!
Light (RF energy) exhibits both wave and particle properties!
And they behave differently when you try to observe them!
Had to fight the “ just give up” urges on this one!
this is such an awesome video!
Loving the content, Many Thanks 🙏 for Sharing the Energy 🙏

Yeah, I can't turn off my electricity at night. My alarm clock needs juice.
I heard you talk about the maximal and patrons. I'm very interested in this, but I can't find it.

This is a really good one.
So I see this to help me "minimilize" but now I wanna buy these gadgets and monitors
JFM, did you get an Old Skool windup alarm clock so you didn’t have any electronics near your bed?

I love how all of these affirmations are not supported by any actual scientific peer reviewed studies, specially the "toxic phones" section.
Geez
