The one piece
Might be a bit of an odd take but I like the farms where you can check the weapon a character is holding before you even kill them. There's that one enemy in commander Lilith that always has a legendary pistol too, I like these kinds of enemies
Ergo the ajax ogre and I believe another or two
I wouldn't say odd at all, there's something about getting shot at by the rare gun you're looking for. Or enemies spawning with legendaries in general, and just simply dropping whats in their hands, instead of having this legendary gear in their "backpack" or whatever when it would just world drop.
yeah i think it's angvar? he always wrecks me when he spawns with a thunderball fists or logan's gun lol
the guy you get the hot mama from does the same thing, except all of the snipers that arent the hot mama are bugged (missing a part) and dont persist through a save and quit on an unmodified copy of bl2.
Yeah that was a sick feature on borderlands 1
The one thing I like about the Original Borderlands is that damage overtime feels like something that is useful. In far too many borderlands games DOT's feel like something that is only useful for keeping shielded enemies from recovering their shields unless you had a build based around DOT's.
All these hybrid farms are eating up all your rng for the next playthrough lol but still cool and multiple hybrids I'm one vid that has to be extremely rare!

Honestly as someone who wasn't around the community for borderlands 1, i really love this content! it keeps making me wanna go back and play the original

It's a hell of an experience, would greatly recommend it especially with a friend.
There's a lot to love about it. It has Incredible legendaries, almost all of the pearls are actually really good. Tons of crazy unique weapon types like dahl and vladof shotguns, atlas is in the game. And imo it has the best atmosphere of the classics
I hear ya about improving your vision. I was diagnosed with keratoconus in sophomore year of highschool and couldn't afford cxl and some sclerals until my senior year when I was already legally blind. Being able to see in near 20/20 again after years was an amazing experience
As someone who has been around since the borderlands 1 days, I find cool to see the hybrids and pearls that I hardly ever seen despite glitch killing crawmerax hundreds of times (in the spot) and faintly recall seeing one pearlescent ever, which I think was an atlas sniper (it was pearlescent because I remember the cyan color) in the zombie dlc but it has been at least a decade so I could just be misremembering. Anyways, great vid!

@@crraab I know but for some reason I have this incorrect memory and might have just been the pearl sniper because I do remember the manufacturer being Atlas while misremembering the color.

Hey, Joltz! I have a question: do the two hybrids you found in this video count towards your “Quest For All The Hybrids” series, or not?
Dude think about this, what if in bl2 they added named parts so its easier to know if you had like a torgue grip would be marked as torgue grip and say the bonuses alongside it and maybe somehow the prefixes too if possible.
Thats feeling so good to be able see things without glasses. People who never wears them doesn't understand why we after lasic be like: "Wow i can read text on that wall"

I didn't get them till after highschool cause I believed my eyes to be fine but once I got them... *it's entirely different*, now I can see things far more clearly and from further distances. Never knew I needed them till I got them

Borderlands 1 og was the first game ive probably invested Hours into, and that was when i was like 10-15 yr old. Ahhh good times, i still love the series. B1 will forever be my fav & awaken my eyes to loot shooters.
I think because they added the tales from the borderlands on the screen in the menus it messed up drop rates cause i seen morning after kill get some insane drops when he was doing his lilith in his streams.
That's the remaster and this is the og version though, pretty sure they didnt hotfix the original

What luck! I did find a stalker from a Badbutt Warden a long time ago when I was a kid. I saw the weird bullet pattern and knew it was special.

I’ve only gotten ONE legit unforgiven masher and it was from me farming the pistol mission in Dahl headlands for almost 8 hours

Happy for your clear vision thanks to the LASIK. I never had super bad sight but did LASIK in spring and just having perfect vision without glasses or anything is such a life benefit 👌
I am doing all the achievements on Xbox in Borderlands 1. It's soo much fun, but those pizza slices are not dropping.. also the colosseum achievements are so long to do!

seeing this video reminded me of the best drop i've ever had, on playthrough 1 going through the crimson fastness story mission and in the room with the chest that the claptrap opens I got my first unforgiven masher, was losing my mind xD

Bro, Sr Crawmerax gave me the other day 2 highly Very Rare Legendaries " The Cobra sniper and the Ogre assault rifle" that was my 1st time getting those together,I never had that kind of lucky before 🥺😭😭😭

I actually got a pearl omega myself from a badass defender, I also got a world drop legendary eridian cannon. I do a lot of farming on ps3
I think they increase the drop rates, ive seen other BL1 players getting really really insane stuff lately
I noticed that too. I was playing bl1 enhanced some months back and got a rhino roaster hybrid just while randomly farming xp from him.
yeah, there is a confirmed ghost buff to drops from the hotfix that added adds for Tales
Updating an old ass game just to add Advertisments and change drop rates for no reason. Thanks, I hate it.
There's some weird i can't put my finger on it. One of my other character saves always got higher quality loot drops but i deleted it because i didn't have max backpack. But most missions were done and had a ton of time played. Idk of those are factors. I'd get pearls every once in a while. I had to do a new character. Just not getting the same quality drops. Hopefully at some point
I had lasik done 18 months ago. Best decision of my life health wise and I still enjoy the 20:20 "fruits" :)
Hey Joltz. I feel like looking through random loot can get annoying after a while, so you should do it like a pokemon nuzlocke but with guns so you only can use the first gun you get per area, and i suppose you can also use stuff from mission rewards, but then that's it so that you can avoid the increasingly tedious nature of testing every gun

This makes me feel super spoiled in the sequels. I will never forget farming in this game when my friends and i played it nonstop and ill never go back again to trying to perfect my inventory. 😂😂 i did too many got damn farms

I started playing borderlands recently & I fell into the issue of glitching out the armory. The door leading to the room is locked & the steal loot objective is checked off. I need a sure fire way of completing this so I can platinum the game
I remember getting dove hornet and thinking it was just a hornet. Then farming ajax ogre 10 times and getting it 4 times

Out of the hours I put into bl2, bltps and bl3 I have never played the original and I’m disappointed in myself. I gotta eventually give the beginning of it all a go
Definitely worth it, I find endgame a bit stale with how few dedicated drops there are but it's still 100% a great experience

I love that you, as well as I, still decide to just load up BL1 and do some rare item farming from time to time. I still spend hours farming craw and doing Farmory runs every once in a while lol

Having to hide outside the arena or get crawmerax stuck to kill him is why gearbox does not understand balancing or testing endgame content. Bl3 was the first game that actually figured it out but even there they still overlooked too much stuff like even making vehicles driveable...
I found a blue rarity eridian fireball rifle is it a hybrid? The red text reads "You'll need some bat guano". I have never seen this one before
