Just finished the series , truly blown away. Some of the big sequences gripped me more than peak Marvel action setpieces. The bleaker tone of book 3 took me a while to connect with, but the ending sequence brought it all home.
I loved the magic system - and the exploration of it in the first two books. I never understood the heirophant thing at all. I really enjoyed the first two books, but I had a hard time appreciating book three. Sigh.
I bounced off City of Stairs but I'm intrigued by this... Also, have you read An Illusion of Thieves? I think you'd enjoy it! Found family thiefy heists, quite light and fun!
Reading City of Stairs at the moment, and really enjoying it. Was debating whether to read it or Foundryside first and went for it as I really enjoy the dead god's trope/theme. Will move onto Foundryside next.
Also really not a fan of the UK cover art for the Foundry books. I do like the us covers, but it's a bit tricky and expensive to get the US copies over in the UK
I’ve been so busy and exhausted I haven’t had the time and energy to read much. I am working through Kaikeyi but genuinely excited to read Locklands next.

We should talk about the ending! Also Divine Cities is a fun trilogy although less heist and more history as the plot narrative device
