Great video. So I've been really going back and forth about which to use... Deals or Tickets. I have already setup a plan with tickets. I have discovered a significant different between deals and tickets. Well actually there are a few. One is in reporting. Deal stages used percentages to reflect on deal progress whereas tickets obviously do not. So the report setup that you suggests does not track exactly for tickets the way that it does for deals. The second is a bit more obscure and likely not to impact many people and that is webhooks. We do some pretty unique things with property data in 3rd party apps. You can pull more data and do so more easily from Deal Properties than you can from Ticket Properties through the HubSpot API. So while we originally setup our arrows integration with tickets, we may switch the workflow to use deals instead.
Super interesting, will definitely have to come back and update this video after some more exploration! The API limitation especially is interesting - I wonder if we will see more parity there with the relaunch of Service Hub.
Hi @arrow, how does this ticket thing works in a situation where there different deals within the same company? How does look on the account/company page then as you mentioned that we'd be only able to see the details of only one plan?
