That’s what I ate in the ‘80s as a kid - 6 inch subs at Subway. No such thing as a kids meal there at that time. I have Subway to thank for putting me on the right path in life for a healthy diet. I remember the day they did that for me so vividly... I was somewhere around 11-13 years old and my best friend and I were on our way to Girl Scouts’ camp for nearly two weeks during the summer. We were going with her friend as well, but I had never met her friend before. It was that friend’s mother that was driving us all to the boat dock where a ship would take us three girls out to the island we’d be staying on, and that mom decided to pick us up some sandwiches to eat on that ship’s 2 hour journey... I hadn’t eaten at Subway before, so it was a treat for me as it was that she picked that place. Her entire family was vegetarian, and I’d never even heard of such a diet before. Because of that, the mother didn’t even ask what we’d like to order, as she would never purchase meat regardless, so it didn’t matter what we wanted lol. She got us each a 6 inch vegetarian sandwich, and although I was quite skeptical at first, the first bite blew my mind... I was utterly SHOCKED that I couldn’t tell meat wasn’t in it! It tasted just as delicious as any sub I’d had before. That impression really stuck with me, knowing that meat wasn’t necessary to enjoy the hell out of a main meal, and I wouldn’t have ever known that if it weren’t for that mom’s choice, and Subway having a vegetarian option like that. I became a full-fledged vegetarian a few years later, at age 16, and still am vegetarian 33 years later. Everyone I know my age is overweight and has diet related health issues. I, on the other hand, have never had such issues. I always internally thank Subway and that mom for helping to set me on that healthier lifestyle choice early on in life. Sorry that was long! Lol.
Bruh…I worked subway for 4 years. I wish this was around. It was early 2000s I had just bough a flip phone lol. I coulda made extra money. Good thinking
I have been a Subway Sandwich Artist on and off for 10 years and let me tell you some of the things I'm watching here make me cringe. For one you just slap everything on there you're not trying to make it neat. Presentation is key. You can still move fast and make it look good. Also you're not wrapping the sandwich with the white paper. You don't want your main wrapping paper to be dirty. Also when it comes to putting bacon in a toaster it is always a good idea to put more than one paper underneath it so that the grease doesn't permeate the toaster tray as much. Because you don't want the next sandwich your toasting to get any of that grease on its paper.
It would be great if there were English subtitles for those of us who are hard of hearing to watch. Really enjoyed watching your videos of making sandwiches

That’s insane I’ve never seen a headset of the drive through at subway and i was telling my coworker imagine a headset for the drive would make it so much easier. Subway employee here ✋
I worked at a subway without a headset and it was horrible. Drive-thru times were horrendous. Cuz when someone will pull up to the drive-thru we would have to go down to the drive thru register and we would have to stand there and take the order. Whereas if we had a headset we could just listen to it and make it and then ring it up at the end.
