I was admitted in hospital in London, I felt I was slowly dying and far away from close family who are in Uganda. I had given up on life completely. The doctors had given up on me and had lost hope but one of the night nurses played this song for me on his phone. He was a fellow Ugandan, When I heard the message, I cried to God and got very determined to remain strong and get better. It was my lowest point in life. I was discharged within days after this incident. The song lifted me. 6 months later, I’m very healthy and strong

I first heard this song when I was 20 year old kid in LUZIRA prison in 2009. I Went in at 17. Got my GED, did a computing course and got trusty status. Me and 7 other inmates worked at Mutaasa Kafeero after completing the computing course. I fought tears hearing this song on the bus ride at 5am on the way to work and this song still makes me tear up today😪😪
