What's in the air- the toxic particles from the smoke - if it hovered over your property, it also landed in your property, which can definitely negatively impact your water, your grass, feed, and cattle too. Just because it was smoke in the air doesn't mean your water was not affected, anything toxic that's in the air, also lands on the ground, and can contaminate your well water, or rain catchment system. The cattle might not show disease for weeks, months or years.

It snowed last week in Japan, and some trains were delayed over 6 hours for safety purposes. It is inconvenient, but nobody died (maybe one gypsy wanderer) . Lots of safety in place, and yet I still think the JR is in business. They have freight trains -- not super long, but not real short either. Lots of engineers, and government regulations . I guess in a nation that can print all the money they want, well, safety is more important than economy. Legislatures need to pass laws requiring transparency in labelling on every package of meat, fruit and vegetables identifying the state of origin; plus the identity and location of commercial processors and distributors.

What's in the air- the toxic particles from the smoke - if it hovered over your property, it also landed in your property, which can definitely negatively impact your water, your grass, feed, and cattle too. Just because it was smoke in the air doesn't mean your water was not affected, anything toxic that's in the air, also lands on the ground, and can contaminate your well water, or rain catchment system. The cattle might not show disease for weeks, months or years.
