- Prince Harry is getting candid like never before. The royal was on “Good Morning America” with Oprah Winfrey, and the duo spoke with host Robin Roberts about their new Apple TV+ series, “The Me You Can’t See,” which the duo executive produced together. The Duke of Sussex, who lost his mother Princess Diana when he was only 12, revealed that he related a lot to Zak Williams, the son of late comedic legend Robin Williams, saying that their stories are “remarkably similar.”

Can you believe that those millions out there , some are so confused, traumatized and unhappy. All lot are suicidal , hopeless, drug addict because of the pains and hurts in their lives. Mental sickness is so covered up and termed weakness if talked about. All lot of bottled anger that is affecting the society at large

This is not about rich people being victims. It’s about them saying to ordinary people in the same position - I might look perfect and a celebrity for you to admire and worship, but your feelings are real.
Your depression is real and not your fault. Even “perfect” me can identify. I am messed up too. Do not model your life on me thinking perfect exists - it doesn’t. We are all just navigating life.
That is why I have always treated all people just as people. They are just people with a different job - not super human as Instagram and social media would have you think.
That’s not how it’s taken from us ordinary people. When you feel isolated and low you need family and friends around - not privileged, un-self aware, idiots like Harry & Meg.

I enjoy listening to both sides, many say why to those who have multi millions , well if you think of it this way. My next door neighbor is not telling me he has mental health issues, my postman is not either. They are using theur platform to get the message out. They shouldn't be attacked for that. Meghan is not here but he refers to her and people blame her. This type of attack is whats not needed. He can't help he is birn into the royal family and have the means , we don't know how norbif they profited from this , its what the media wants us to believe. Listen to the message of whats being said before we condemn the person saying it.

We have similar issues in our family, l dont feel the need to tell 'everyone'...we work through our grief and stay strong as a family, as l am sure most do when they suffer a loss.

Thank you Harry and Oprah for not letting up on mental health discussion. I’m watching America grappling with the mental issues that are showing up as increase in suicides, conspiracy theorists, hate groups, mass shootings just to name a few. Lots of women are survivors of sex assaults. Alcohol and drug use has increased because people are self medicating but people are feeling uncomfortable because Harry and Oprah are touching the shame that most families and society have been living under. Drug and alcohol use is mostly used by people who are surrounded by loved ones but usually the secret causes and fear of open discussion isolate people and the stigma of therapy leads to toxic outcomes. How many young people need to die from drug overdose or shoot their classmates before we realize that we need to let people talk freely about what they are going through. Most families have dysfunctions that lead to trauma

I find it interesting that they think they have to make us aware of suffering, or mental issues, like us "little people" need to be schooled on the trauma of life. I am aware. I for one, do not need to be "made aware". Were you not aware of mental issues prior to Oprah or Harry telling you what it was? In my opinion, (and I'm allowed to have one even though I am not privileged or famous) this is a money grab (I'm sure Oprah and Apple have a contract for millions which she shares with Harry) and an attempt at brand building for the ex-royals.
Create awareness about what? Don't we all already know that death causes grief and trauma, and that people abuse drugs and drink to mask the pain??? This is old news and isn't solving any problems

Especially since Robin’s death was so shocking.

Bc Robin’s son said that he was drinking alcohol in excess probably to mask his pain of his father’s death just like Harry said that he drank alcohol to mask the pain he was feeling!!The problem is people do not listen to what words are spoken especially by Prince Harry. And for some reason some people do more listening to negative commentators than the actual person the commentators are trying to disparage!!

The question for the medical community is why is it that thousands and thousands of people have traumatic experiences in their lives, (loss of a parent, spouse, child ) and those people do not resort to drugs, self abuse, alcohol, or violence. Yet others see it as their excuse for a "get out of jail free" card?

Truly we dont know what people turn to. We really don't. Yet there is more violence with these video games people can play and connect across the pond. There is mass shootings and attacks on officers ir vice versa. There is homelessness because people can't hold a job. So many things people maynot recognize as a mental health issue but it is . Has Harry ever said exactly what his father and family did to him?? Did they beat him and abuse him? It would be helpful to know what they did.
He said they never spoke about his mother after her death. He was a child going through the emotions of what had happened and his family dismissed it and and tried to erase her memory in a way. It’s never said directly, but it’s like they saw her as a stain. The lack of compassion and overall emotion is the cycle he seems to be trying to break in his family.
Also, he saw those same behaviors displayed with his own wife. That seems to have been the breaking point.
Watch the queen and princess Margaret, Prince Ann and Prince Charles all of them say the same thing I don't know why people blaming HARRY they all put they problem on public TV

H&M seem to nourish his fear that M will die like Diana did. They have enough wealth to grow it without having to appear in the media and they say they want privacy but they move to LA where there are less media protections and actively court media attention with often controversial releases timed at the same time the RF submit media releases, and appearances and shows.
H seems to have forgotten receipts of the RF and aides supporting and protecting Meghan; of the multiple speeches M gave that demonstrate the RF did not silence her, and of the fact that media criticism only occurred after H&Ms public behavior turned disingenuous.
He seems to have forgotten his public profession of love for his father and respect for his grandmother; the receipts demonstrating that the RF recommended Princess Diana get counselling, with Charles sourcing contacts for her and Diana accepting help with her bulimia; the Queen and Margaret getting mental health support; Charles trying to make his marriage work and having 14 years of therapy; Charles supporting the boys going to Eton and marrying women they loved so their lives were different from his own, William helping Harry get counselling, Catherine helping her brother with his depression. The RF demonstrate awareness, support and personal use of mental health services with each other and through their public initiatives.
It’s sad that H&M couldnt reach out to his family, her social worker mother, M’s personally selected medical team or the RF team of medical doctors when she had suicidal thoughts while pregnant.
Does he realize that Diana also sadly contributed ‘genetic pain’ to his first 12 years, bringing a troubled childhood and budding eating disorder to her marriage, making William her confidante when he was barely a teenager, and calling the paps herself?
It seems Diana was chased that night because she was a fascinating public figure who had a relationship with the media. The fascination started when she was associated with the RF, long before she started seeing the man she was seeing at the time.
Hopefully healing and forgiveness occurs, including compassion for the family who love H the way they knew how, living with reality from a forward looking self responsible place.
