Recipe: Green chili Kothamalli Inji Tomato 1. Kothamalli, thakkali, green chill, inji(grated, thookal ah) 2. Water, turmeric powder ->let boil ~10mins 3. Perungayam, molaga pazham, jeera, kadugu in ghee 4. Salt + paruppu water 5. Thalichu kottu 6. Let sit and turn off w\ kothamalli + lemon juice
Thanks mami for the traditional elumichai rasam recipe! My mother taught me the same when I was not even a teenager but in those days (50 yrs ago) tomatoes were not used so abundantly ! Green chilli lemon n adrak kotmir. ..best combination. .n I must share here that when I was newly married I made this rasam ..my husband had never eaten this rasam before and he kept mkg farmaish for this rasam very often! Thanks for inspiring/motivating ppl like me to go bk to our traditional(simple) ckg once agn! The ginger part was amusing as always with ganesh ji n mom throwing in their banter!

I am also a South Indian and I am 74 yrs old .my manni used to make this rasam but now she is no bemore.so decided to.see your recipe .I love all the recipes which you post in the you tube.Thank.you very much🙏 much.Namaskarams.

To garnish I use ghee for rasam, gingelly oil for all tamarind, vendhayam based recipies, and coconut oil for all coconut based recipies, spinach... Eruvili kozhambu or Thengai araicha kozhambu, Erisseri, Avial, all kootus Thadiyangai, Chowchow more kootu. etc. Even Karunaikizhangu masiyal though it has the same base as this. But garnish in coconut oil with some grated coconut on top of it. I just love your recipies mam the way you present yourself unassumingly. Thanks much. I have forwarded your channel to at least 20 people now 😊😊😊😊

I have time sitting at home after taking to retirement. I watch your videos mami and try doing items you show. Yesterday I tried your lemon rasam and it came out very well. Wife appreciated and that is the ultimate certicate. Your videos are addictive, in a healthy way, except that there is a fear I may put on more weight trying your receipies....thanks a ton...May God bless you and Ganesh who patiently makes the videos....
