Fun fact: LA was the most rigid draft wise in the tournament, by far. There really weren't enough MA games to see a real meta developed there, but the EA was much more diverse. The same 4 nations were banned in all the LA games (Lemuria, Rlyeh, Ragha, Atlantis). And 5 of the nations in all 5 LA games were the same (Utgard, Midgard, Mictlan, Ulm, and Gath).

Re reusing your Mictlan bless: The Full Measure has been patched out of existence. You took a Luck bless with Misfortune 3, the Luck bless now requires Luck 2 scales, so that’s a 200 pt hole in what was already a hellbless
I would love a LA Pan game because I really like the nation and I think it has a relatively decent mashups into most of the drafted one's, but I'll take LA Man, gonna be cool too. Drop some rocks on fools
Huh, I'm surprised LA Man was so rarely picked. It's my favoite LA nation. Magister Arcane are so awesome. A2/E1/S1+a random50% mages for 170g is just such a good price. And you get 3 free scales! (assuming you go drain) Though I have to admit their troops are pretty avarage, thought they have a lot of Xbows
Man has to worry about magic duel and path diversity, otherwise it's a good nation. IMO Pan is a bit stronger in LA (minotaur are bad tramplers, but with strength of giants + quickness fluffs they can smack size 3+ really hard), but Man is good too. Caelum would have been fine too (wailing winds skelly spam is a pain to deal with), albeit a pretty different game and they'd struggle to hell bless rushes more than Man/Pan. If thugs aren't size 6 usual Caelum answer is "more air elementals" :D. Fortunately these maps don't have a lot of water. No Lemuria/R'lyeh/Atlantis would mean that either Mictlan or Jomon would go crazy with a significant water system. Should be plenty of Ryujin in this one regardless.

I have another question. Mostly theory crafting and kind of hard to explain, but I wanna get it out. If you're being raided by a Thug or SC equipped poorly and you don't have the resources to stop it effectively, could you cloud trapeze someone with a berserker pelt hoping he will die so the raider will equip the berserker pelt. It could possibly mess up their scripting. I know this is situational, but could it work in very weird encounter?
Well that sorta used to be a thing with slave collars, but i think they removed that. With berserker pelts they could just drop it in a lab or discard it :)
