Exactly the same thing at Westpac Stadium here. There is a button for level 3, yet 2 is the top floor. The Shaft lights were on, so I could see that there was no floor above 2.
Wow never thought I would see Evil Owl surfing the counterweight of a high quality competitor! That's very naughty and dangerous Evil Owl you should be punished by being strapped to the side of your own tape reader with your head against the tape 😀
I love your surfs! I´ve gor a question: I want to try rebooting a Schindler EuroLift, but i cannot open up the logic cabinet, does it also restart it if i just turn the fuse in the electrician room off and back on?
+German Lifts I have never really experimented with the Schindler MRLs in the 2000s (often called EuroLift, although that name wasn't used in the UK). This logic seems to be different to modern Schindler MRL logic. I haven't look closely at many of these, but as far as I can see it is easy to open the cabinet. The new MRL logic cabinets are very hard to open. To reset most MRLs it needs to be put onto engineer mode then back to normal. There is usually a large switch labeled as either ERO, Engineer, or Inspection.
Otis gen2 requires the gadget which Otis is highly protective of. Kone uses a coded menu which I don't dare touch without the manual otherwise I wouldn't have a clue what settings I am altering. I don't know about Orona logic. Digital advanced logic (which usually goes alongside Ziehl Abegg Zeta equipment) is very easy to reprogram. I want to make a video of this. Newer ILE is locked down and I don't know how to log in as admin, but there are sometimes the new ILE voice on the old style boards which I really want to get the messages out of. Thames Valley is more confusing, I have an engineer card which lets me log in and change settings. As it is modular, the main settings may not always the actual settings, its confusing. Schindler is completely locked down and I don't stand a chance of changing anything. ThyssenKrupp logic almost impossible to work with.
Tom Jardine as long as you don’t upset it then your fine I guess. The newer models do seem a little more reliable than the older ones which have a more strict safety failsafe on them
1:34: The Evans Lift Alliance Oh freaking hell it was a hard stop! You should have put one of my generics instead of this Gen2. Oh where's it going? Oi, come back, come back. Note: I used "freaking" to avoid swearing.

why was the door banging?

have you ever seen kone powerdisc logic before.(but i bet it's the same as ecodisc logic)
It is the same LCE logic as an Ecodisc
ok
Cool to bracke by full speed on inspection, it's very good for the ropes inside rubber bands, who gonna pay that?
Are gen2 reliable lifts?
Not so... they likely break down
+133travelguyIndo 8 Otis elevators don't break down often, but they do go out of service die to their overly protected logic
They aren’t really... they always break down with the slightest little fault and it is too safe.
Fuck no

0:30 Kone chime on an Otis?!
Nope. It's an original Otis chime
1st generation Kone Ecodiscs (Sigma and Delta) have that chime.
0:40: maybe because the building owner thought that there were 12 floors?
I feel like Gen2s in New Zealand are better because they pre doors.
