To know the fixed semi variable and variable cost of each we need to compare any two levels.. you can use any two levels.. the answer will be same

Column D was going to be used in final calculation so we created Columns E and F because total variable and fixed cost was not used in final stage..and there was no requirement to compute total fixed and variable cost
