Get some quail n build a temporary enclosure to acclimate them to the water and easy food source. N after a week or so. Let them loose. They will come back for water n food

Pigs are not the easiest animals to contain but a good electric perimeter set lower to the ground usually does the job like goats if there's a weak spot somewhere along the fence they will most definitely find it. And when they do get out they like to get into any feed stock, garden and knock over trash cans rip open trash bags and spread it across the yard. If you put them in an area that is built strong and escape proof then the only problem you really have is how bad the ground gets. They love to use their snout to dig and let me tell you they are good at it. They like to eat worms and also dirt as part of their diet but their enclosure usually becomes a big ol mud pit because they also love and need mud. On a positive note they eat just about anything and everything so any food waste that comes from the house you can throw into a bucket and feed them a mixture of slop along with fruits and veggies. You'll want to still give them some pig feed specifically made for pigs to help balance out their diets. If you're lucky you can talk to your local grocery store, farmer's market, or anywhere that sells produce and see if they will let you pick up any of their expired or out of date produce which you can feed to your pigs. I mean they will eat all the peels and parts of produce that we humans usually just throw away. And last but not least you can also feed them meat and this might come off the wrong way but on a farm I use to work at when an animal would die they would salvage what they could for human consumption if they could but everything else and I mean everything else they would feed to the pigs. One time a younger cow died and instead of having to dig a deep ass hole or pay to dump it somewhere they just threw it to the pigs and when nothing but bones where left they were a hell of a lot easier to dispose of then the entire body. The only thing is sometimes you have to expose the carcass's blood/guts to get the pigs interested and the process started.

Keeping goat and sheep minerals out will help them now chew on the feeder. Make sure the minerals are sheep friendly too because some goat minerals have too much copper for sheep!

Normally a auction place charges a flat rate+percentage, my local one charges $5+5% for poultry, $25+10% for small livestock(goats, pigs, sheep, ect) and $75+15% for large live stock(cattle, horses,ect)

Flair you would need to make a big pen in order to keep hogs or sows that big they root a lot and tend to mess up yards because of it so if you don’t mind a big messy patch of land go for it but taking care of swine is harder than it seems
