I saw a girl on Twitter saying you can report a bank account for fraud if you have enough proof that you bought there, sent money and your items were not delivered. You have to show proof of payment and maybe screenshots of conversation to prove the person did not deliver or is maybe ignoring your calls and texts then they'll block the account for fraud until the person pays you back your money.

Waited 1 full month for that wig, only for them to send me a completely different wig - shorter than what I ordered. Went to the nearest branch near me to lay a complaint and literally the ladies there laughed at me when I showed them what I got vs what I ordered. Mxm I did get to speak to the branch manager there who gave me the run-around and eventually blocked me-whatsApp&calls. I just had to leave them cos I was tired. I HAVE LEARNT MY LESSON

The closure was a T part which wasn't mentioned in the description, in the pictures it looked like a 4×4, 3 part closure 2. The hair was stiff and did move like how it does in their mannequin head videos🤣🚮 3. I buy from Geebuy hair, Sherry and I’ve been buying from her for almost 5 years. I recently even bought a 4k weave and I’ve never had problems so she is not a scam. I do agree that communicating with her could be confusing especially if the reviewers product got lost in transit because she is Chinese and English is not her first language and her English is broken but shame her hair is top tier quality. Not a scam!

People should get the names and ranks of the police officets who refuse to assit them, as well as the station, the station commander or any immediate senior on duty etc and report them for lack of duty, record them, or jot down word to word if possible the interactiin between you and them. I was at the police station to close a case for an Instagram boutique that I thought was a scam and they asked if was the person scammed by the glamhair and I was shocked
I'm sad to admit it, but SA has one of the most incompetent police ever. I was scammed recently by people claiming to be Jumia. The scammers used a Capitec account and was told the same - go open a case. I went to the police station and the police refused to open a case. I refused to leave. I was eventually told to get a bank statement showing that I took R5k from account to pay scammers. I went to the bank and printed the statement. I went back to the police station. I wrote an affidavit, and 3 days later, they sms'd me the case number.
Another red flag is when these boutiques tag themselves and don't have anyone who hasn't tagged their page before.

I’m so sorry that you got scammed. It’s an awful experience. Uwinshair is also a scammer. They portray being in india using an India 🇮🇳 contact no, only to find they are in Gauteng. They sent me an old wig and refused to refund.

It came shorter than advertised. I payed extra for plucking so it could "look" like the one on the advert but sis! 😂😂😂 I wasted my money shem it looked unplucked and it's like they didn't even bother to comb it 😂 Ai shem never again!

Yeah, Delux? I can also say they false advertise. I bought 2 wigs from them. Unfortunately for me it was at the same time. Both were bobs. One with a light fringe and one with a middle part. Yoh, Jesus ☹😭. The one with the fringe? The fringe was SOOOO FULL, I hated it. I still do. The middle part? Yoh. The closer and the hair were different textures. One would swear I bought those 2 wigs from street vendors, those ladies who say sell and make hair for R350 outside cosmetic connections . Anyway I tried calling and texting them back to get my money back and return their stuff mare all my efforts went in vain.

@@kgomotsoD well I paid and the lady was giving me the run around with the tracking number... didn't even get the wig... it's only after I paid that I realised it could be a scam and when I started looking at reviews and talking to some customers who were also scammed, I got really pissed and threatened to do everything in my power to get my money back..... in a way I suppose I somehow got lucky, idk. At some point I called the lady during the day n you could hear she wasn't bothered at all... but some threats were involved tbh...I wasn't having it. 😡
Exclusive's quality is bad, I have 2 wigs that I do not use.😠I bought a pixie that is so beautiful online, I got to the store for pick up and it was horror and I was told when I apply leave in conditioner it will look the same. ☹

I was at the police station to close a case for an Instagram boutique that I thought was a scam and they asked if was the person scammed by the glamhair and I was shocked
I have a fear of shopping online that's why I go too the store
I'm sad to admit it, but SA has one of the most incompetent police ever. I was scammed recently by people claiming to be Jumia. The scammers used a Capitec account and was told the same - go open a case. I went to the police station and the police refused to open a case. I refused to leave. I was eventually told to get a bank statement showing that I took R5k from account to pay scammers. I went to the bank and printed the statement. I went back to the police station. I wrote an affidavit, and 3 days later, they sms'd me the case number.
The way the SAPS responds sounds as if they are part of the scam.
