Why do you keep calling Porsche 936 '908'? They're generations apart!
Because it was a 908 officially. It was known as the 908/80 partly due to Porsche politics - they didn't want to run a 936 for some reason so changed the name..
... they weren't generations apart. The 936 raced into the 80s, winning in 77 and 78
