      This really didn't make sense. Your last video was basically saying us FBA sellers are screwed now because of the whole Amazon TEMU battle. And this video (which was filmed way before the other one) was supposed to tell us what you would have done different but your recommendation will still to sell on Amazon. And you missed the most important thing, how are we supposed to store and ship all of this stuff if we have a Shopify or sell from our own website?? That's the value of Amazon FBA even though it's getting almost impossible to sell on there. I'm actually looking for a way out myself. But I can't pack and ship 100 packages every day from my house. I don't have the storage for all that inventory.

    Great Video I subscribed, this video pretty much read my mind and is what im doing.
    I had a shopify drop ship store with nothing but items from aliexpress. Sales were coming in but it takes to long for shipping and is a short term business plan. Covid came and stopped my sales on the shipment. I decided to design some of my own products and going to sell though wordpress and woo commerce. My main focus is a long term domestic store.

    My issue is that I do not want a one-dimensional business (i,e., one single niche). I want multiple niches. Thus, I would want multiple newsletters, probably three for three niches. Is there a way to accomplish this? The various platforms are too single-minded.

  • @mtmt9899

    I appreciate your insights. But you make assumptions that selling on Amazon will likely generate a profit, which then can be used to build a brand outside Amazon. I have been doing exactly what you said in this video. My monthly Amazon sales revenue is over 10k and I sell over 500 units/month. However Amazon took ALL (I mean ALL) of the sales revenue and some. The cost of selling on Amazon is very high. It’s extremely competitive to sell on Amazon if you are an USA seller. It’s hard to compete with the Chinese sellers nowadays. I made it to the top 100 in my niche but what I’ve achieve so far is to completely lose 500+ units of product per month for several months now in exchange for being at position 70-100 on the top 100 list. It’s important for ppl who are considering to start a private label to know the hard truth, not just the upside potential.

    I found my first product yesterday I wanted to sell on Amazon but when i go to sell it, it has me ask for permission to sell. If I were to private label that product from the manufacturer, would i then be able to sell it as my own since technically it isnt being sold on Amazon? Just trying to think of ways to pass this hurdle.

      @jaycho2277 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Tacticalsquid if your a new seller most brands will be gated in the beginning you just need to request approval for most brands and you will find that you will get approval on some right away. If you were to PL the same or similar item like the ASIN you mentioned you can definitely create a new listing and make an active listing without a problem just under brand you might have to put it under generic brand or you can request to use your own brand name even without UPC. Happy selling from a fellow amazon wholesaler 🙂
