Loved your fiery summon. However, I believe God directed the verse 70 x 7 rule of forgiveness to Paul and only Paul. I don't have enough information to retract Paul's history for Jesus to made this statement towards him. However, I believe God wants to and will forgive folks, within reason, I know he doesn't want us to be doormats and get smacked in the face 490 times a day and forgive the same violator 490 times for doing it. And for argument sacks, other violators who have made criminal behavior habitually and their nature and constant, yes, God will forgive and love them 490 times for their sinful acts, but unfortunately, it says, the sinner will reap his/her benefits. He's God. God can and will also punish. It is also written, he kills. He sent the death angel to Pharoah's house. God promised ABUNDANT life, and being abused, mistreated and violated is not being blessed. Jesus went to the cross and bore all of my smacks, strikes, pokes, kicks, and pushes. Now, if God strikes me with strife, he'll give me give strength to endure until the end. Amen. Thank God for Jesus, that I don't have to repeat the torture to prove that God is real. God did it for me and said he will give me burdens that I can bare, it is written. I am only made in his image and don't mind living in the 2nd heaven when it's my time because I'll forgive the same person once maybe twice and even love the enemy at a distance which is a broken and unhealthy relationship anyway, if I have to forgive you more then once, but Oh well, it was warranted or desired by the perpetrator. For every Cause, there is an Effect. God will forgive zillions of times, that's what he does, he's God, but I also believe, he will also have you to reap the benefits of sin. Thus, have fun sinning in pain, Yay!, whether the pain sneaks up on you and be physical, mental, social, familia, etc., (Meaning, even no Peace.) Even God punished his chosen people, the Israelis for disobedience. How did they benefit from their acts of sin? They couldn't enter the Promised land-Canaan for 40years. Me, I am operating in life in combo style, a little of the Old Testament, All of the amended and revised New Testament Book of the Law, and still by, FREE WILL, which is given to us all, and allows ME to continue God's writings for my life.
