This gem has really struck a chord (literally) when I’ve played it out since I scored it a few months back.

Released on the REO label through Quality Records in Canada with permission from Amy Records, USA.
Little Eva's version of Ben E King’s hit was produced by the dynamic team of Bob Feldman, Jerry Goldstein and Richard Gottehrer. They were mainly songwriters and producers but performed songs under the name The Strangeloves. They appear as “Mr Bassett Hand” on this 45.
The song was written by Ben E King and Elmo Glick (Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller) and originally released in 1961. Little Eva’s version came out in 1965.
Her talents stretch far beyond The Locomotion. Enjoy ❤️
