*hello sweet lady!* what an interesting haul today. ... very natural materials, neutral colors, simplicity personified. ☺ i hit one thrift store on tuesday, the 30% off day for us old f____ ...folks, lol. all i got was a blue opaque glass bead rosary, a small toy for my adult daughter that looks like a small half-plastic half-squishy cup cake with big eyes, and a necklace with a ton of annoying wooden beads clustered on it which i removed with great effort because all i wanted was the gold tone chain for another thrift buy (a gold tone St. Maurice style cross shape) from months and months ago. i mailed a package to my daughter at the post office, and i also hit 2 dollar trees. finally, i hit 3 take out drive through restaurants on the way home. i got a swiss mushroom burger at the first one, and when i couldn't get cajun fries at popeyes because the register wasn't working -- bah, humbug! -- i ended up going to burger king and *forced* myself to get fries and onion rings!
