- I kinda just heard this song and thought this animation would go well with it.
This is based around a game called Cats are Liquid (available on Steam (store.steampowe...) Itch.io (last-quarter-s..., and on mobile platforms (where I played the game), created by Last Quarter Studios).
I really enjoyed this game and hope that it will grow in popularity. It's very fun and bounces between very easy and very difficult in each level. It tells an interesting story as well, though I still have no clue what happened by the end (I suck at deducing anything).
Either way I really recommend this game!

Prequel? Don't you mean sequel? The game is called a better place after all and in one of the world's some of the narrations says "she could do these alone, but can she do them now?"

red cat left lumi, but he gave her red color when being hurt.
and those colors are in cats are liquid: a light in the shadows.

at the start of the better place when cat is liquid its white.
then (after blue cat left her) she turns blue when liquid.

Game A Better Place released not in 2017. In 2019 (late)
While that is true? This animation was based of the first Cats Are Liquid, which I played and completed in 2017, hence why this video was uploaded in 2017. Its not influenced by or referencing A Better Place at all.
I am a bit confused on where it's implied that the sequel came out in 2017?

Just downloaded the part 2 of the game i do hope that they will make a part 3 of the game.

OwlpawWarrior Haha thank you! Yeah I definitely could have made this for a MAP but I didn't really feel like looking for an open MAP, plus I kinda just came up with the idea for this animation and went with it before I could lose motivation haha.
It's good decidion - to draw fast, when motivation hadn't run out yet. But you may open MAP by yourself
OwlpawWarrior Maybe in the future but I feel like hosting a MAP now would be a bit too stressful for me to organize haha.
