Marmalade taking weeks before to be made for Xmas day Beanacht Ná Ṅoïlag to you and irish patriots and ex pats in US ..sligo my memories of many my granny's family decend from .my pa grandaddy is from teenage co tipperary..I was only there as shane mc gowan of the pogues passed away and I was at St Mary of the rosary church in neenagh co tipperary...father pat did a beautiful mass ..the singing and dancing in the Catholic Church with a Buddha on shanes coffin only shane mc gowan could do that. Poet .soul unique one we will never see again. Strange too shane passed away on sinead o connor birthday. As we were in co wexford promenade to say goodbye to sinead o connor too ..our pure irish artists very few of the ages remain. But we try our best to keep traditional irish music going. SLAINTE. Just came across this programme which i missed when it was on sky. I think Donna Taggart done a fantastic job singing live what a voice and a song Jealous of the Angels, have on my phone as my alarm call.
I was in the audience that night and it was a great show. What made it different was the singers sitting around in a group rather than coming on to a stage one at a time, and the crowd of a few hundred were all near the stage, it was a great atmosphere.
Just came across this amazing Xmas show, what fantastic entertainers,it dates back to 1913 and 1914 what happened to all the other shows ,lets hope from now on we will be able to enjoy more of them , I have played those 2 so many times they are begining to wear out my hometown was co Kilkenny , we were in ballinrobe last year,had a great time when the rain stopped , love to my two lovely friends Elizabeth and Mary 💞 happy 2024 ❤

We are on the high ground here..surrounded by plenty of areas fir rain to run off properly ..however that doesnt mean cars will start or wiring wont be affected..water runs downhill.

I am not on drugs, and I am a professional musician, Patrick got a massive reaction from the audience, just listen to that strong vibrato in his voice. miles ahead of the others.....I never even met Patrick but he is some singer.....
I am sipping iced tea w fireball and eating a few chips..potato chips..the Sun has nit fully set,yet.. I walked barefoot..very carefully and pitched the rotten apple over the fence near the Comfort Inn...woodstock,va.. " one rotten apple spoils the whole barrel."
There were more screws..hardware dropped on the outside balcony on the second floor...here. and numerous spider webs around the electrical lighting etc..and some creep stuck his cigarette butt in one of the outlet areas on the 2nd floor..fatigue, carelessness or malice?
Also clouds look ominous again..visibility for those not instrument qualified very borderline at this time ..close to 7 a.m may 9 2024 thursaday east coast usa.

A great show but when the piece is visual, like the dancers performing, the cameras need to stay on them. We don't need to see the audience watching but enjoy the dances.
