Center for Science Launches Fundraising Campaign to Support Animals Affected by LA Wildfires

In response, Rockville Centre, NY-based Center for Science is collecting funds for the Pasadena Humane Society to aid in their mission of caring for animals affected by the disaster. The effort is being led by Center for Science Executive Director Dr. Ray Ann Havasy, an animal advocate, and her organization also rescues animals. Animal rescue volunteers and workers have been overwhelmed by the number of injured and abandoned animals.

A full 100-percent of all donations received will be sent to the Pasadena Humane Society for the continuing aid which is still desperately needed for animals in Los Angeles and the surrounding communities.
