The scene which Thor shared his power to the kids was good, remind me of a scene in Shazam. The whole movie was fine for relaxing but the way they ruined Zeus compare to the deleted scenes, that would have been a great reason for Hercules to fight Thor made me kinda upset ngl.

The sharing power to the kids scene in Thor is pure cringe factor with zero build up. The one in Shazam was very well executed
Ngl for me that was the worst. I was trying so hard to like it in theaters but I was sitting there like “great another shitty one”
Zeus remaining as a dick doesn’t ruin anything. It was literally to prove Gorr’s point right in which there are some gods who don’t give a shit and are selfish.
For as polarizing as this movie was 1 thing we can all agree on is the way Jane gained Thors' powers in this movie was WAY better than the comics.
Jane as a human being going on different planets, galaxy and then dying on a random planet without even seeing his friends is very weird concept like they just wanted to end her role from marvel & to gain some audience with lady thor like they did in doctor stranger by using x men & in she hulk, the daredevil.

There's absolutely nothing Waititi's garbage Thor did even one percent as good as even the worst of Thor's comics, let alone "better".

This movie was okay, Ragnarok was definitely the better movie but this was still pretty fun! I really liked Jane as mighty Thor and the scene with the kids was actually really cool and gorr was amazing! Just wish they showed more of him. The fight scenes were great especially the one on the black and white planet! If the comedy wasn't over done in this then it would've been a more solid movie. Hopefully 5 balances it out how Ragnarok did!!
Nah this movie sucked and so did ragnarok taika tried to be edgy and add modern stuff to ragnarok and it made it such a shitty movie, It felt like a pinata threw up in ragnarok. They gave the director of thor 3 and 4 way too much freedom and he got way too comfortable and now phase 4 is ruined partly it being his fault ruining thor. Hate that they gave him so much freedom and that they even gave him the project. Imagine if the russo brothers directed thor? They'd actually have it connect with theother films and not give us pointless jokes and woke stuff.

I feel like Marvel was trying out something more campy with this movie. Definitely not taking itself as seriously. Def a hit or miss for a lot of people, but if you watch it with the ‘campy’ intention instead of ‘serious MCU building’ intention it’s really quite a fun movie.
The comedy was definitely overdone but the movie is still good. I really enjoyed it

Most of the criticisms on this film are nitpicks. This is actually a fun and engaging movie. It's camp, not to be taken too seriously. The humor either lands or not. I quite enjoy movies like Space Balls, Monty Python, The Princess Bride, and the tone of Love and Thunder is pretty much similar with those movies.
Of course, this movie is not perfect. It could have omitted the part where the Guardians rejected Thor, it was off putting. Thor is the noble Son of Odin, any group would be lucky to include him in their lineup. Also, the scenes of Gorr killing Eitri and the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum), were already shot, they could have included them, it would certainly give more meaning to the "God Butcher" moniker. And to emphasize the point, add more Christian Bale scenes (more god killing), he was fantastic in this. If those were incorporated, and even keeping the rest of the movie as-is, I have no doubt that it would play a whole lot better.
Did they really need to add a quip after every serious moment though?
Thie issue is they chose to adapt one of the darkest Thor stories

It was far too childish, it didn't take itself seriously, especially with a villain like Gorr the God Butcher. Wasted potential with the cast like Natalie Portman, Russel Crowe, and even Christian Bale. Even the cast seems to just be phoning it in.
first 3 thor movies are like teen titans. this movie was like teen titans go. marvel is slowly turning into a children's movie series.

I enjoyed Thor love and thunder but during mid and near the end the story started to get boring, yes we met Zeus but I would prefer the DELETED SCENE Zeus because it feels right and wise I really hope marvel will do a Zack Snyder cut cliché

These reactions make me wonder why this was called a bad movie. Taika was brought in to resurrect the Thor franchise after The Dark World, and he did. He’s got an odd way of directing, but it works. Rotten Tomatoes ratings should not be this low.
it just had no stakes. they were kids so you never thought they were in any actual danger. if gorr would’ve killed just one kid he would’ve seemed like a real threat
Taika had more control on l+t than in ragnarok he was also a writer while directing l+t but he was only a director for ragnarok and you really see the difference between it w way more jokes being put in and honestly feeling forced korg is just wasted as a joke and gorr was severely downplayed in terms of brutality only by meaning we shouldve at least seen the scenes of him butchering more gods to get the attention of thor and the guardians

....had we lived in a Balanced, Centric society....they would have never emasculated Thor in this film. Most Marvel fans would have praised the idea of Thor being Evil but in a way where of course, he thinking he's in the right, but eventually in other films, there will be a clash.
