    I haven't raced R/C in several years, literally watched this entire video. This is gold for any Mugen owner. Even those that don't own Mugen cars should watch how methodically you build cars. Attention to detail is key and it's no wonder you have been so successful. Keep up the great work Adam, you're an asset to the community and an excellent brand ambassador.

    Hello Drake. I just want to say I enjoy all of your content on TH-cam even though I'm mainly an on-road guy. It would be awesome if Mugen would hire someone to put out content like yours for the on-road stuff.

    I run an x ray and a sticker over pillow the ball hexes is a good tip, i never thought of that. I do run x-ray graphite uprights and I use graphite dry lube and it helps but constantly maintaining up rights and pillow balls to keep it smooth. The xb8e looks fast and low cg characteristics are really good but if I buy another Nitro I'm going with Mugen. I have an mbx5 and it was a really good for what it is

      Thicker fluid in the rear will slow down mid corner rotation and also increase drive on the exit of the turn.

      Keep automotive brake cleaner away from Lexan especially. It will literally melt lexan. Even a fine mist will scar the surface.

    Why not just put the roll bars on bearings so they're locked in and free-spinning always?

      Because there are different size of roll bars.

    • @malATX
      @malATX 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FattydonTube not an issue, the same exact collar style with grub screw will hold the variable size roll bar and also adapt the diameter to the bearing. Several other brands do this successfully already.

      Look up section modulus, you can get the stiffness you want at a much lower weight. You can also tune the arm stiffness with optional stiffener plates.
