I think the reason they have 8 as a significant number in particular is because it's literally just the number of members, and somewhat referencing the call and response "WHAT'S 4+4?" "8 (ATE)". I've also heard people say "8 is fate" which makes sense due to the luck causing your fate. This was a really well done analysis, props to you!

If you notice, Seungmin is the only one that doesn't have a good luck moment after everyone did. And if you pay attention, the delivery man that crashes against Seungmin is the same that gives his package to Jeongin, but how is this possible? When he crashed with Seungmin they were all having their "bad luck" moments, but he was going to deliver the package even tho the product was sold out. There's something weird going on here
when i.n talks to the old man trying to find the ate cookie there is a calander and only the 10 is a different color and it’s the 8th month i remember stays saying that that might be when they announced their tour dates or something else

BUT I noticed that in the vids for (Hellavator, Laventer, Megaverse, and the ATE tralier ) it seems to me that they are in a mutiverse because they all asoseat with something to do with A SINGULAR elavator, And in a recent interveiw on buzzfeed I.N said that he was newly intreasted in the MULTIVERSE. (idk if that links to any of this) but to me in all conculsion that they are in some multiverse and they all link to that same elavator. Oh I think I have a little theory about why Felix stayed in the elevator and said "lucky dog"! In Hellevator, skz specified they wanted to go up (from hell to the penthouse, so the last floor). Here, Felix pressed the "8" button to go on the last floor of the building (because it's the last button 0:50), but the elevator malfunctioned and may have went down or got stuck on a floor close to the ground. Then, the elevator doors open but Felix doesn't seem particularly happy (he just has a natural and neutral facial expression I know, but he just screamed out of fear/despair in that malfunctioning elevator, but he suddenly acts like everything's normal/chill/boring?), so he might still not be on floor 8 when the dog comes in. In that case, the dog was able to get on the elevator and go up thanks to Felix's unfortunate event, hence the "how are you, lucky dog?". It goes well with the unfortunate events turning into lucky ones (all this might eventually be about seeing the positive side of things to turn them into good/lucky moments? who knows).
Still, Felix calling the dog "Lucky dog" could totally be an mcu reference (the coincidences some stays have pointed out are coincidencing a bit too much), or it could also be simply because Lix saw the clover on its head. Also, why would Felix just stand facing the elevator doors if it wasn't to get out? Wouldn't he try to set the elevator to go up again? Or maybe he just wanted to leave the elevator because wth was that? Or his head was empty? Yes I contradict my own theory.
In a totally different situation, Felix could have reached the 8th floor, but because the dog came in, he decided to stay in to accompany the dog. Orrrrr it is in fact just a cinematic thing, the elevator doors closing to end the trailer. Yeah, maybe I shouldn't think too much about the elevator thing because it may totally be only that.

Here’s what I found:
Chan and Seungmin are the only one that don’t get their luck back after the curse reverses, except in the end scene Chan gets a cookie, but the shelves and the pizza never come back.
1:28 In the scene where IN and Han go searching for the cookies we can see a calendar on the wall behind IN. The month has 31 days and the 1st of that month falls on a Monday (as in it does in July 2024) except the month number is an 8 (or another circular number). The 10th of that month is marked red, as if it was a holiday, but I don’t think there is a holiday on July 10th (we do get a teaser video tho).
Edit: I realized that the calendar actually has 30 days, not 31, so it’s not July either. The closest month with 30 days that starts on a Monday and has a circular number is September 2025 (9.10.2025)
The person Seungmin bumps in 1:03 is I.N.s delivery guy, carrying I.N.s(?) package 1:45 , but that scene is showed BEFORE the scene where I.N. orders the package.
Felix’s “bad luck” is that he gets stuck in an elevator, but when the curses ends, he stays in the elevator.
In the begging we can see that Chan isn’t the first one to open a cookie (look at the table at 0:41 and Chan saying “should I get some luck TOO), but the curse only starts after he reads it out loud, and not when he opens it. When Changbin is opening the cookies, he gets 3 “bad” cookies (I’m assuming the third one is also a bad one, because of the others reaction when he eats it) 1:34. I’m not so sure about this but; “crispy on the outside, lucky on the inside” if “crispy” means “spiky” and “unlucky” that explains why the luck worked only after they ate the cookie.
i noticed the thing about the calendar too (the 10th is also my birthday hehe) but didn't pay much attention to it... i thought it was an old calendar. the other stuff was also really interesting!!! great job 💗

That Chinese character a past-tense marker character. So if you put "了" after a verb then that makes the verb past tense. (From somebody who studied Mandarin)

What about the title, ATE, and then the correlation it has to consumption. There are many themes of this throughout the teaser, with the dog eating the pizza, I.N. ordering stuff online, Lee Know and the coffee, and of course the advertisements (and there is probably more). I find this interesting because of the theme of pleasure (and/or indulgence) in the rock star album. This along with the various themes of cooking, creation, and flavor that can be found in the 5 Star album adds on to the initially confusing teaser. Cooking/creation, pleasure/indulgence, and consumption. The fact that the 5-Star and Rock star albums can be seen in the background of one of the scenes. There has to be SOME connection.
Do you think 'luck' or 'fortune' will be the main theme? Not ATE. idk. I'm so hyped for this!!!

In my culture, 8 is also a number that signifies infinity (cause it's the symbol sideways). Yet, it is considered unlucky. This is apparently because infinity can mean anything, either infinite good luck, or infinite bad luck. Thus, if apparently the number 8 is not favorable to you, you might end up in an infinite cycle of bad or unpleasant conditions. Vice versa the other way round. You kind of get the point, I hope.

@@miramyoen i think it's like all the unlucky events that happened actually turned out to be lucky after opening the lucky note. this is also what happens for han, where the "unlucky" thing is that he fell from bed, but it turned out to be lucky cuz he found money under the bed. so maybe seungmin's pizza getting knocked out by a delivery guy in a hurry was unlucky, but it was actually lucky because the guy was in a hurry to get the package to I.N.

I tried translating the note with google translate, and I wrote the korean text like this:

And what I got from that was:
“I knew you were like that. You're a lucky guy”
Somewhat makes sense, I guess? …
Also, not sure, but the chinese word 了 could be coming from Hanja - basically korean words written like chinese characters.
I tried putting 了 into a hanja dictionary, and it can have two meanings:
1. To finish
2. Particle of completed action

This might be wrong because some of the letters are hard to read
You transcribed that orange note kinda incorrectly, it says "너 그럴줄 알.았.당 ㅋㅋ 넌 LUCKY 가이양" and then i believe it's a playful face, not whatever weird character you put it as(i could be wrong, but im certain as to the korean that was written).
