I would love to see some more tanks in the midlane. MSI has been having a lot of Nautilus mid, and Caps even showed Sejuani mid once or twice, even more Rammus mid could be fun. I don't care if you play them full ap or tank, I just want to see the champions

I have played this a lot actually, and Zhonyas and Banshees veil are just so good on Zac
With Banshees your jump can never get interrupted and Zhonyas is obviously a great bait
Also depending on teams you can go for rocketbelt and do cool „combos“ like the Q Rocketbelt auto into E. Also you can use Rocketbelt in your Ult

ive been playing Zac mid since season 8. His E rotation to jungle skirmishes are unmatched. Come out of nowhere, CC for 3 seconds. The in lane combo is to Q a minion, E onto enemy, Q2 enemy, spam W and walk it out.

Interesting choice to max e first. I kind of like it into such an immobile mage. The worst part about playing Zac mid is definitely how little jungle & support make use of your gank setup. Pyke should be living in river.

I played a game a week or so ago as ap Kai'sa top. I main her and she's one of my strongest champ. I saw Zac top and thought it was free as it was a melee mu. I got rekt, its engage ability and combo got me by surprise a few time.
I actually run Zac mid a lot. He is a beast at taking trades since his abilities stun for a long while and hurt a lot, but leave him exposed. If you land everything then you will be exposed for less time and if you pick up your blobs without getting chunked then you can really mitigate any sort if counter-play. Zac is an incredibly slept on champ that really only loses to bruisers and dashes.

Bro there is nothing I relate to more than your comment about junglers fucking hating mid lane. I’m in diamond and I genuinely have to go into every game preemptively pretending my jungled doesn’t exist because all I ever get from them is zero ganks/gank a full hp enemy mid when I am in base and die to them/ randomly come to my lane for the first time at 15 mins just to tax my lane. And that’s best case scenario when they don’t literally just solo tower dive the enemy laner level 4 and int.

As a former mage player, playing mid against Zac is cancer. Bro starts Dshield and just solo dives me under tower, even if I cc him and use everything. Also has zero mana costs and infinite sustain... Pretty ridiculous to face champs like this, reason why I quit playing mages in my elo because even if I perform I feel like it's pretty damn impossible to hard carry as a Syndra, Vex, Zoe, etc. when its so much easier as a jungler
