Rocket didn't just make that fight significantly easier, it made you skip the entire first phase of it... kind of sad because I really enjoy that boss, it's one of my favorites in the whole game, but oh well, if it was worth the 160k to you, that's perfectly valid, it's your choice 🤣 Also welcome to the castle :) Probably the most interesting environment of this game... hope you enjoy your stay!
I have to say, Ashley is taking this all remarkably well. If I got abducted and locked in a room, I'd be upset to begin with. Then seeing my bodyguard murdering people, I'd be a mess. And then to find out I've got some horrifying head-splitting parasite inside me? Leon would just have to go ahead and shoot my hypochondriac ass, because there's no way I'm keeping it together long enough for him to take me anywhere.

That is actually a fun boss fight, there are a lot of dodge opportunities and ways to do alot of event based damage to him. Also says he'll never buy another... Wait until the fight with Ramone😂
Rocket launchers are OP. I got a couple on my second playthrough to just one-shot the hardest bosses and it was so nice. You can also get an infinite rocket launcher in New Game+ for 2 million, but it's so worth it. I got it on my third playthrough and just flew through the game, really nice for speedruns.

Wow, you are out of the village already and it's part 11. Can't wait to see all the crazy action in this version of the castle. I get hyped just by seeing the new weapons coming up. Also, cool hunt for the blue medallons in the heat of battle!!! (Btw, now that I see it, I feel I liked more the cinematics for Mendez's fight from the original, just saying everything is being amazing overall). Thanks for the awesome playthrough!!! 😁

In the original, I used to buy the TMP shortly before the fight with Mendez (and resell it immediately after), since ammo for it were relatively plentiful. Not sure that still translates, since Mr. Odd didn't have the time to check behind the boss before everything caught on fire, *and* there was no set of heals up top. Teh rocket launcher was a bit much, but it was also way too big to lug around until the next boss. And apparently you can buy the broken butterfly 30% off. Presumably you don't get a free one later on? "It's about reloading." "Does it reload quick?" No. No it does not. It does, however, reload... Uniquely.
This game setting giving me dark souls vibes. Feels werid and exciting. I am really enjoying let's play of this. Thank you for showing this to us. As well this first blind of resident evil 4. Remake they made is beautiful. I dont mind the action as well as getting all treasure. it very satisfying. idk why. it keeps on your toes. The weapons are cool as well. I cant wait to see the stingray gun. Look awesome. 😎

Why did they change Ashley's commands from "wait here" and "follow me" to "follow me" and "follow me but slightly further away"? Worked perfectly before
@@o0alessandro0o He never scrolls down there but I've been doing it large packs throughout my playthrough. He should be able to unless it isn't a thing in hardcore mode.
@@TyphonJRT I see. In the last video he does mention selling some of them off, so he probably didn't scroll far enough to see in this one. He doesn't actually sell them, mind, just lugs them around for the rest of the chapter,... Selling healing items instead... While at half health... But he does mention it.

I think it was after the third time that Ashley got killed during this section that I realized it restarted me literally staring at the weight that releases the cannon, so I was like..hmmm...can I shoot it from here and bring the cannon up? And yup, yes you can
What an absolute waste of 160k ptas. Geez. I am enjoying the play through. I bet you eould do a great run second time round after learning from all your mistakes. Not getting the riot gun is a big one. Not knowing the real way to use attachable mines and most importantly not getting the fladh grenade recipe

Mendez was a pain in the ass in the original re4 so i guess its even more pain in this one. I usually saved the rocket launcher for saddler phase 2.

Beware the Headbiter Plaga, the first enemy you saw when you entered the castle. It's a one-tap, if it gets you.
