SOFIYUM A Lepcha folk western fusion band live in Kalimpong

Formed in the year 2011. Sofiyum is a Lepcha folk-western fusion band based in Gangtok, Sikkim. Amalgamating Lepcha folk strings, flutes, percussion with western instruments, our songs are mostly based on the way of life of the tribe, nature and everyday life of us tribal folk as well as all universal emotions. Our lyrics are all in the Lepcha language. We have toured extensively in our own state since we formed as well as in different parts of the country. With an album soon due.
