Pior de tudo é saber que ele não vai conseguir reviver ela, algo que sempre é possivel em outras obras de cultivo, existem varios onde morre a garota e ele consegue reviver porque o estagio final da maioria dos protagonista é algo semelhante a um Deus, mas aqui pelo que soube ele nunca ira conseguir, eu ja fui assistir com o pensamento de que ela iria morrer e não adianta se apegar mas é impossivel não gostar dela na obra, mesmo gostando da outra ela ainda era a melhor personagem
It depends, some of donghua is different from the real story. Based on that maybe if the studio would love to make a new fresh story in this donghua, they will make it. But I thought it wouldnt tho, because I heard this Jade Dynasty story is based on reflection of the author's family, for the example Lu Xueqi is his wife and her name is his wife real name.

It's not even a love story, Xiaofan is being comforted by Bi Yao through her expressing her love for him, even to the point of sacrificing herself. In the end, he seems to feel guilty true, but that doesn't mean he loves her. She's truly pitiful.
what is the meaning of surviving 10 years in the devil sect just to resurrect bi yao, he even agreed to live together with bi yao during the chaos in the qingyun sect, and there is also a moment where xf looks in the old well, and he only sees bi yao which means it is the most important person and wants to be owned by those who see it,It's just that the author is too biased because Lu Xue Qi is his wife's figure. The author also continued the series until finally there was a lot of criticism and he stopped the series.If you read the novel there is a clear depiction of the nature of the character, and if Bi Yao manages to live, she is the winner of the woman.
@@Ninestarss I don't know about that, I must agree to disagree. This small instance of the well isn't enough to prove his love after the way he always behaved towards her. Just how many times she and her father offered him her hand in marriage and he rejected her? I personally don't think he loves her romantically, of course, he'd love her in a way afterall they went through life and death situation together. I think Bi Yao deserves better than that. And while I feel sorry for both, I feel more sorry for her because of her misplaced affection. He atleast got to live long enough to find mutual love.
It’s really sad how people dislike or hate Lu Xueqi because she is the heroine and end up with Xiaofan. I love both female, Lu Xueqi and Biyao represent the good and bad for Xiaofan. Biyao reminds me of girls that are rebel, sneak out to see a boy they like, don’t listen to their parent and a C grade is good in school as Lu Xueqi is those girl that is discipline, listen to the parent and try to achieve an A+ in school. They are both very different, one does what she please as the other can’t because they don’t want to disappoint other. In the novel, it show more of Lu Xueqi and Xiaofan interaction and moments together sharing their experiences, trauma, etc. but the anime cut a lot out. Lu Xueqi got to know more of Xiaofan throughout the years in Qingyun sect and who he is, which probably why she started to have feelings for him. At that time, Xiaofan may have started to have feelings too but he still head over heels for Tian Linger that he didn’t see Lu Xueqi action toward him by saving and protecting him. When Lu Xueqi and Xiaofan fell down and later end up meeting Biyao and her aunt, that they were supposed to capture Xiaofan to bring him to her father. But Xiaofan and Biyao end up getting stuck in a cave together for 3 weeks in the novel but in the anime was couple days. They both got to know each other in a short time and Xiaofan was shock to see Biyao treated him well, even though they both were from different sect that are fighting against each other. Biyao was also shock to see how he treated her too it’s probably why she started to have feelings for him. At this time, Xiaofan still thinks about Tian Linger and the feelings still there. When he returned home and find out Tian Linger was engaged. His jealousy kinda of triggers the evil thing that took over him to attack his friend and he was being punished outside on his knees. Lu Xueqi came to see him first and expressed her feelings to him but he doesn’t recall because he was unconscious and thought it’s a dream. Biyao later came by, they talk and she say this to him “the real suffering lies within our hearts” it’s because she knew that he likes someone else and not her. Biyao was probably hurt knowing that she like him and want to be with him but he don’t and they are from different sect. When Xiaofan told Biyao how he feels dumb sometimes knowing Tian Linger like Qi Hao he still save her from demon attack. Which made Biyao question if he’ll do the same and he responds back “I should”. His answer just really show that he would save her probably as a friend but not the kind of save he did for Tian Linger because he knew why he save her because the feelings was still there. Biyao try to convince Xiaofan to join the ghost sect and run away with her but he refuse because he doesn’t want to betray the good sect and this is his home. She was upset and took off. This clearly shows that Biyao doesn’t know him well or understands him. Which kinda of reminds me when Ghost Li (Xiaofan) went to see Lu Xueqi when he heard of the proposal for engagement even though she turn it down, he asked her to run away with him but she couldn’t because she feel like she is betraying the good faction in the novel. It’s like the roll is reversed Xiaofan in Biyao position and Lu Xueqi in Xiaofan position. It’s probably why Lu Xueqi really understands what Xiaofan is going through and knows his pains. I feel bad that Biyao scarified herself to save Xiaofan because she probably likes him a lot and he doesn’t feel that way towards her. Xiaofan losing a friend & found out the truth about the "righteous” kinda of triggers his belief. He was grieving and in a vulnerable spot. Xiaofan join the ghost sect due to Biyao and kinda feel like he owed them because of her death, probably felt guilty that he didn’t save her like he told her. Even though he never wants to do anything bad, reviving Biyao has become his life goal and destroy the Zhu Xian sword. Biyao death is a life experience for Xiaofan to know the feeling of losing someone important. When Xiaofan (Ghost Li) run into Lu Xueqi 10 years later, his feelings for Lu Xueqi resurface. At the end, he realized he loved Lu Xueqi and didn’t want her (as well as his friends) to get wiped out by the evil factions.
I’m very amazed how the author created Lu Xueqi characters because she struggled between love and her sect. She’s like stick in between. She try to stop Ghost Li many times but could never killed him, he also could never killed her too. Both of them were going through the same pain, yearning for each other but she can’t betray her sect as he can’t betray Biyao. Lu Xueqi never try to convince Ghost Li to come join the good faction again. She asked if he is still Xiaofan she knew and to come back. She still care for him, protect him and save him a couple times knowing he is with the evil faction. She has stood by his side when he is in danger or nearly dying. She is willing to wait for him whatever he is going through. Their love is beautiful, it’s the love that goes through thick and thin together. To know and understand each other pain, to love someone in their worst moment. I can’t even describe it anymore. Which is why I understand the author chosen Lu Xueqi. The author did such amazing job and I truly admire his vision when writing the story. It suck that people were criticizing him due to the novel ending which probably why he didn’t continue writing more.
