I spent ages doing trying to get the correct paint thickness on a sensor on my LS460. Ended up getting the sensor replaced by a specialist near London. Lexus actually supply them colour coded so they don't need a bodyshop - 90GBP for the sensor from Lexus and one hours labour at 60GBP. However, the satisfaction of doing it yourself makes it worth it!
Awwwww it's heart-shaped! :-D BTW, the pita is very yummy, I can confirm that from a 1st hand experience. However, I never tried to paint my sensors. Will have to dye my steering wheel at dome point though... this channel is becoming a helpful source for all the problems life can throw at you it seems!
