I watched Britta's announcement video for this Book Club recently, and most of these titles sound intriguing. 😊 I'm going to look for copies and try to join in with you for at least some of them! Also, you actually pronounced Quixote correctly, for the most part. 😊 The Spanish emphasize the second syllable and pronounce the x as they do a j (as in, like an h). 😁 So, good job! 👏👏👏
I've got the Carol Shields and the Anais Nin, so maybe I'll jump in. Also have the collected stories of Hempel, so should be a good excuse to get that started as well.
Glad to see you are continuing with this for next year. I read The Stone Diaries earlier this year and thought it was great, 5*. I was also hoping to get to Don Quixote next year, so maybe I will try to get that one read before The Female Quixote comes up to see how they compare.
Hope to join you both for both The Stone Diaries and the Mitford. I've been meaning to read both for decades! I'd like to join you for the others but my library doesn't have them, if I see them secondhand in the meantime I'll pick them up. Happy Reading 😀
Sounds like a good list. I'm looking forward to reading Stone diaries as well. I probably will step back from the nin. I have read two of her diaries and I enjoyed those books but I will have to look into this when I get to decide if I'll join you for this. I'm looking forward to reading along with the others. No chance of a Voxer group? 🙂
In my book clubs, the Golden rule is never recommend a book until you have read it and it seems you really haven’t read any of these books. I know you’ve been busy but maybe you could start listening to Audible while you drive and do other things. good luck this year

Wonderful!
I'm such a babbler, my video is twice as long as yours. 🤣 (Oh, and my video is also up now!)
❤️❤️❤️
I am going to try to join you for The Stone Diaries. I have no memory of it either, but I know I read it!
That is funny! I clearly liked it but why can’t I remember it
What an interesting set of books. 2025 is looking good.🎉
I hope so! ❤️
Another interesting year to come!
Should be a great year!

That would be great! Look forward to it.
I loved The Pursuit of Love, and the rest of that series. I need to watch the miniseries in 2025.
I didn’t know there was a mini series! Nice

Fantastic! Hope they will be great reads!
Interesting list for next year, Sandy. I'm not familiar with any of these, but they all sound intriguing. Sounds like a fun year of reading ahead!
Should be a good year! Lots of opportunities for 5 star reads
I started The Stone Diaries but haven’t finished it. A good incentive to get back to it.
Excellent!
Oh. I actually own a copy of The Female Quixote, so I may join for that one. It may encourage me to finally read it.
Excellent!
Maybe I’ll take The Pursuit of Love camping. It’s on my TBR!
Ha! It does align with camping
This is a great list. ❤
Awesome! Thank you!

Always a chance for a voxer group. Depends on the level of interest
I hope you have a much less stressful year in 2025!
I hope so as well!
I read Delta of Venus as a teenager in the 70s.
Nice! Is it super spicy?
@MsReadsAlot As a teenager in the 70s yes.

Those are six titles that are most certainly not run-of-the-mill - I can’t wait to hear about them.
🤩
📚❣
Great list. FYI: "Quixote" would have been pronounced "quicks-ote."
Thank you!
I read Delta of Venus back in the day -- it's pretty damn racy.
Nice!!! I am excited to read it
