@Djulho Dantas Maybe. You could join the Discord or ask on the Driver Syndicate Forum. I made a suggestion if they made a Portuguese version of the game they could use Driver 2's Rio police lines.

how do you change cars with the free camera mode?
Man this project is amazing! I found out about it some days ago and it looks and feels great. The guy who's working on it is nicknamed Soap and he's from the Driver Madness community (jellysoap on youtube if I'm not mistaken).
Yeah but he has a newer build from this June I believe on his Discord that he has not shared on Driver Madness or TH-cam.
Also did you notice they used the unused police lines from Driver 2? I heard 1 or 3 in this current build. The most noticeable one is "Suspect hit a squad car!".
@@Comando52Colton I heard that line and was scratching my head over why I never heard it in the game. In fact, I only just heard the line "suspect car is heavily damaged" from Driver 2. I've been playing that game for years and have never heard that line!
@@Comando52Colton Yeah, man! There are a lot of unused lines, like this and "suspect's hit a building", ""squad car down" and more. Four of these unused lines are present in the beta version of Driver 2 (the only unused lines I could extract), the rest were probably found inside the game files.
@@NFS4LFE yeah that line is pretty rare because your car has to very damaged while in a police chase and it isn't said very often.
Im glad seeing someone trying to make Driver in today's graphics.

The game is still in a early build so there's no story mode yet even though there's the Syndicate option at the main menu. Selecting the Syndicate option will crash the game in the current build.
Hell yeah, Driver is being remastered! And hey, there's a car modeler or something in an SDK? Sounds good to me, as such a thing could allow me to recreate my Hot Wheels cars in Driver!! And also, I'm thrilled to hear the original crashing sound from the original game! Tell you what, this freesound link will give you a huge insight on everything I know about it: freesound.org/s/425275/ I happen to be the one responsible for uploading it to freesound dot org, so you have me to thank for it. One other thing I gotta mention though is the fact that the version on freesound sounds a bit different compared to the sound heard in Driver. The Driver sound seems to be a bit truncated at the end of the sound byte. What I did with the Freesound version is that I split the Driver sound in half, took the second half of the equivalent sound with the proper tailoff heard in the trailer of "The Seven-Ups" (1973), and combined the 2 different versions of the sound to make the complete sound again. Therefore, the freesound version is the closest to the original master copy of the sound that anyone will ever get (until a much better version comes around). One day, I plan to become the new owner of the original sound effect!

I try to use console command to change car on survival....but I doesn't work....so it's impossibile to do survival with a better car? A real pity

Same, i use a xbox one controller and the steering seems to be off for me, not sure how to fix that.
Found the game link yesterday from a video. How do you make the codes activate such as Infinite Mass from the console commands. Tried it and dosent do anything

If it is the latest version make sure you are putting underscores ( _ ) instead of spaces and that you put a 1 for turning on a cheat or put a 0 for turning off a cheat.
Example:
g_infinteMass 0

It is a amazing fan made game being worked on for a long while now by one person it has fun play style of that of Driver 1 and 2.

How do you fullscreen?
Go into the games files Gamedata>cfg>user.cfg and either look for it or ctrl+f and search "fullscreen". Once you have found it change the 0 to a 1 and you should be good.

Too bad you can't switch cars like Driver: San Francisco. That would be cool.
You kind of can by using the free camera and pressing the mouse button to "jump" into the nearest car. However, the function is bugged because the new car you jump into will still have the AI controlling it and driving is very unpleasant as a result.
Let's wait for an update.
In the console commands there was a command called Shift_to_car but I couldn't figure out how to use it I also discovered If you click on a car your camera will snap to it but you will be fighting over the A.I. to control it and parked cars won't move.

Is there any way we can get out from a car and steal somebody else's car just like in Driver 2?
There's a shift like mechanic from Driver Sans Francisco in the game but it's incomplete and kinda glitchy.
