My theory
Bakugo and Eli are in the same attack and bakugo dies and deli is on the verge and then he sees bakugo dead and just doesn’t give a f*** anymore and uses the last of his life to beat the villains butt but he knew if he continued to fight he would die so it was self termination but also a villain attack
