Well folks I am lost for words .. I really don't know how to describe what I think about this vlog from you... Only one word comes to mind . Stunning.. In every way. This is why your channel stands out above all others. Perhaps one day people will realise just how much work it takes to produce stunning videos like yours. This is all I have to say. Apart from keep yourselves safe and well.🐐🐐🐐.
Thanks for a lovely relaxing vlog Gary and Nicky, so glad you have beaten the stoppages and are safely on the Llangollen canal. Have a lovely week and keep safe and warm 😊🤙
Gary....that twisted Chimney at around 5:00 on that beautiful home was amazing! Thanks for showing that. We don't see that kind of thing in my area. Mark in Florida
Takes me back, when I was 8/9 years old (early 70's) we went on a family holiday on the Llangollen canal on a boat called "Willeymore" at that age ì thought it hilarious
Lovely vlog, love the Llangollen Canal walked along it many times. Wanting to do the section after Lower Frankton but might have to wait til next summer suspect the tow path might be a tad muddy after all the rain we've been having this year! 😮I spent many an hour as a kid in the farm house you showed by bridge 5, it had a double seater privy down the garden, now that's togetherness!! Lol!
hi, glad I not the only one who tumbles over words , I also get mixed up . lovely cruise before the the rain came , but you are in Wales its famous for rain ........ been very cold here today , went shopping in new Aldi across from Tesco Rugeley you can access both from the canal . happy boating , thank you .
Good blog today. Have seen many blogs on that canal and always thought it was very nice. Always thought it would be a good place to hang out, or over -winter. Have a good one and stay safe.
Very nice cruise today!! So nice that you made it with out much rain!! I was wondering if there are any B and B's along the canal 's with mooring? Thank you so much for taking me along with you!!! Take care be safe and well!! Have a good thanks giving!! I will see you on the next video!!
I spent 1/3 of my life in colorado, I always miss the bright yellow of the aspen in the autumn nice the see the colors on your vlog!🤠👍👍 glad you made it onto the llangollen I know you were a bit concerned👏
Lovely vlog, beautiful canal and a perfect place to spend Christmas! Same boat builder as myself and like you, my bowthruster hasn’t worked for about 18 months now.
Those awkward colours still holding. 😅 I agree, wrenbury is lovely. Nice little chandlery at the marina too. I remember going through the lift bridge solo, it’s a slow one to operate, seems to me the ones you can crank are a lot quicker.
@ yes, they let you use the Elsan if you buy something from the shop. I walked much of the canal from wrenbury to ellesmere, driving my car down to a spot then walking back, that way really gives you a feel of the canal and the area. I moored at marbury next which was a particularly quiet spot
Good morning we have seen a 65 foot narrow boat for sale, but we are unsure of how restrictive the length would be on the canals ? We are planning on living on our boat and being constant cruisers like yourselves. Any advice would be a much appreciated.
You would certainly be restricted with a 65' boat. I know the Leeds/Liverpool would be out of your reach but you could definitely cover a lot of waterways. Our friends Steve & Chris on AmyJo have a 67' boat and they've been cruising for years, a 57' boat is a 'go anywhere' boat
Great lovely cruise as always what was the name of the app you mentioned that you can see where your at and what speed your going cheers safe cruising 👍

There's some wonderful craftsmanship around the canals Mark and its still as strong as new
Very glad you bear the stoppages. Wishing you a good end of autumn and winter
Another tranquil cruise and now it's time to enjoy . You got through the pressure regarding getting on the Golly . Well done ❤
Hi Debs, yes we're relaxing a little more now xx
Takes me back, when I was 8/9 years old (early 70's) we went on a family holiday on the Llangollen canal on a boat called "Willeymore" at that age ì thought it hilarious

The snow is also causing problems, now its all thawed out every where is muddy and flooded. I don't think I fancy sharing my loo time lol

I'm not sure about B&B's Max but there's loads of places to stay a long the Llangollen Canal
@GaryCaptainPhillips Thank you for your reply!! Take care be safe!!
Hiya great video. I'm sorry I didn't understand what app do you use?
It's called NEBO it's a great app for sure
We use to love going cotton arms in big Bertha .. such a shame it closed … gutting … great vid guys cheers Chris & Sammy
The Cotton Arms used to be famous for their pies, sadly though it was open one day then closed the next
I spent 1/3 of my life in colorado, I always miss the bright yellow of the aspen in the autumn nice the see the colors on your vlog!🤠👍👍 glad you made it onto the llangollen I know you were a bit concerned👏
It was starting to get stressful, especially with all the rain we've had
Lovely vlog, beautiful canal and a perfect place to spend Christmas!
Same boat builder as myself and like you, my bowthruster hasn’t worked for about 18 months now.
Ours is a simple fix but it's still going to be about £140
Haven’t got a clue why mine isn’t working I’m afraid. Yours is still a lot of money to fork out but you seem to manage very well without it.
Those awkward colours still holding. 😅 I agree, wrenbury is lovely. Nice little chandlery at the marina too. I remember going through the lift bridge solo, it’s a slow one to operate, seems to me the ones you can crank are a lot quicker.
Its a busy road too matey... ABC boats are some of the friendliest people around

Timing of your video release coincides with my bedtime near Canada, a peaceful watch and off to sleep
Enjoy!
