Thank you for making these. I have an 88 k2500 5.7. The more videos out there on these trucks the better! It’s helping me learn how to fix a lot of stuff myself.
Your video is always better than the others, clear & precise. My problem is those 2 metal line tubes are sitting above the right side screw (but it was not on your video). I tried & tried, but I could not put the socket over the screw in order to remove the screw. Any suggestion or help??? ASAP.
I did everything you said, but the bolts on the old ignition coil look like rivets, and nothing like the bolts on the new ignition coilIs it possible I got the wrong ignitio coil?
I am no accomplished mechanic by ANY stretch of the imagination. Will be attempting this change over/replacement on my son's suburban in just a bit...will return and report . If you see an unusual cloud emanating from the Nauvoo Illinois area in a couple hours, you will know it did not go well ROFL...(I edited the word preceding the word cloud so that the Ytube police didn't get their knickers in a knot) :)
that coil has been replaced at one time that's why the bolts ,and its a white after market coil by the looks of it , my 1991 GMC 1500 is black and riveted , its in this truck , good video's TRQ ,th-cam.com/video/-BDUuHcDqW4/w-d-xo.html

Nice job! Do you have to disconnect the battery to do this bro?
What is that extra wire that you have taped up for on the grey connector for the coil?
may be for a tach hook up.
Best video I've seen so far
Well are you changing parts to see why didn’t you show how you knew it was the Coil ?
Is this going to be pretty much the same on a 93 gmc sierra 4.3L tbi?
